Not all rescues are successful, not everyone survive. 💔🥺

This is Podkin, another victim of animal cruelty, she was found roaming on a busy road with flesh getting eaten by maggots, skull exposed, excessive eye and nose discrharge.

According to the reporter she was fine weeks before she was rescued so it's more likely someone cut her ear off. 💔

Podkin didn't survive. She gave us at least 5 days to show her what love looks like, what it feels to have a home, to have someone caring for her.

Those 5 days were beautiful, she was eating a lot, her pain was managed through multiple pain reliever, she made it so easy to clean her wound (she would literally sit down to let me do the cleaning then she'll patiently wait and when done she'll start rubbing on me and giving me kisses 😭), but she didn't make it, she lost too much blood while she was out there fighting to survive and infection was already in her blood. 💔

A quick background about Ella: She was a victim of animal cruelty, she had a broken jaw when she was rescued and was slowly getting poisoned by the unborn kittens inside her and was positive of 3 viral diseases, but she made it. With everyone's help, Ella made it, Ella is living a comfortable life and full of love. 💗🐾

We rented out a car yesterday to ensure a safety and comfortable ride for Baste, he was also checked by our veterinarian before he was turned over. He was given flea and tick prevention treatment, vaccination (Booster and ARV) and completely healed from the surgery (tumor extraction and neuter) done 2 weeks ago. Thanks to the adopter who shouldered all of Baste's expenses. 🤍🙏

Silence is safety? Not around here. 🥺

Locking doors isn't enough when you don't feel safe behind them. Here's a glimpse of what we have to go through, what our neighbors have been doing to our home. This is what we have to go through trying to protect our rescues and our family.

Almost daily of property damage, harassment, and threats.

But last night, it was more serious. More dangerous and threatening not just for us but also for our rescues.

They tried to firebombed us, our property where over 60 rescue animal resides, and targeted the area where the dog stays.

Harassment, throwing rocks on our roof and property, threats. We blotter everytime they attack, gather every evidence we could, but they just won't stop. We tried to do everything legally and their respond was to escalate matters to worst.

So if respond is slow on our end, please bear with us. We are busy dealing with this crap our neighbors have put us through, we have blottered this incident at the barangay and it's already filed with the BFP and will be turn over at the Prosecutor's.
