whenever i try to send a text message via sms, it always says “can’t send: [message]”. calls work fine tho, which makes this even weirder. i’m in finland, provider is DNA.

my pc is pretty slow for 36mp raw editing in lightroom 5. currently it has a ryzen 5 2600, rx 580, 16gb of ddr4 and an SSD. would upgrading to the 3700x make it faster? it's particularily slow when zooming to 100%, switching through images and importing images.

i found a Tamron AF 28-200mm F3.8-5.6 XR Di Aspherical IF Macro for 35€. i feel like it would be a great lens to have alongside my 50mm f/1.8D, but can it keep up with my D800's 36 megapixels? i don't need a ton of sharpness, but i don't want to buy a lens-shaped banana either. should i get it or get something better later?

i already have a lightroom 6 (or CC 2015?) installer, but i have no idea how to crack it. i'm pretty sure you can't just use genp or something because it's too old. i tried torrenting a bunch of old CC versions from monkrus, but none of them had any peers. hell, i can't even get modern versions to work because creative cloud just says "installation failed" when i try installing LRC. i don't think i want that anyway, an older version would run way better on my pc.

i find my nex-6 to be kinda uncomfortable, and this is the only grip extension i could really find that might fit on it. i don't have a 3d printer, so i don't want to waste time getting it 3d printed and shipped to me to see that it doesn't fit quite right.

i already have a ccwgtv hd, but it's so incredibly slow. for now i've had to use my macbook connected to it which has good performance, but it's a messy setup. all i need is 1080p60, a menu that doesn't lag and preferably sideloading for smarttube.

my mom's regular 13 at 85% BH is way slower now. like on the level of ios 26.0 on an iphone 11. i have a 13 pro and it's not nearly as bad, although the battery health is 100% (idk if that's true or not tho cuz this is refurbished). apparently some people on tiktok have this issue too.

i'm thinking of making a media server out of a raspberry pi, but i was wondering if anyone knows whether or not you can stream from a media server using vlc or something.
