I purchased diff guards from Metalcloak before Moab. Those guards served me well and the customer service was amazing. I am heading to TN this week and decided it was a good idea to put a full skid plate system under my rig. I have included some photos. If anyone goes down this path, happy to connect to share my lessons learned. My main topic is I have dealer installed rock sliders and I had to pivot a bit to install the full skid plate system. It looks amazing and will clearly provide great protection to the undercarriage. Metalcloak clearly knows the rig, and again…great customer support!

Pulled into the lot into and had to take the open space next to the Defender. INEOS took the traditional route: solid axles, boxy proportions, straightforward mechanicals. Land Rover went the other way with a full reinvention: unibody, air suspension, all the modern tech. Different philosophies, but both clearly built with intent. Kind of a cool snapshot of where “Defender” as a concept has gone in two directions at once.

I cannot find this part other than used on eBay. Does anyone know of a source? Or can it be cross referenced to another manufacturer? It’s for my 89 560SL (R107), and is likely responsible form my idle issue. Thank you in advance!
