Baldur’s Gate 3 on 16” M4 Pro MacBook Pro?

Does anyone have an idea how the naive Mac port would run on the following spec which I just bought? Could I get a stable 50-60+ fps at a respectable resolution?

Apple MacBook Pro, Apple M4 Pro Chip 14-Core CPU, 20-Core GPU, 48GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 16 Inch

Is £1999 a good price for this spec [16” M4 Pro 48GB RAM 512GB SSD]

Thinking of upgrading from my 14” M1 Pro 16GB 512GB SSD. This listing on Costco is for a brand new unit (not refurbished).

For reference, the same spec but with M5 Pro and 1TB SSD is £3599 from Apple directly.

PSA: Do NOT complete Blood Moon Rises if you regularly AFK Vyrewatch Sentinels

Otherwise they will stop auto-aggroing you. Meaning you either have to keep clicking them to attack or sip a goading potion every 6 minutes.

Glad I saw this on here before going to start the quest, would’ve ruined my favourite WFH activity

EDIT: Apparently there is a way to toggle the aggro. In the big house, south of the Darkmeyer teleport. There's a werewolf that sells Garlic Cocktails. Vampires is aggressive again when it's in your inventory. [Credit to Healscreamer in the comments]

As per an MSI rep via email. Looks like Scan doesn't have exclusivity. Could be useful to those like me who have discounts + gift cards to use with Currys

Has anyone ordered the OXP 3 from Indiegogo and has an idea of how much custom fees will be when it arrives in the UK (plus any other fees on top)?

For how long will the Claw 8 EX be top of the pack?

The 8 AI+ came out a little over a year ago, understandably a lot of people who bought it at release are bummed out that the EX came out only a year later.

My biggest reservation for spending that much money on the EX is that MSI will release a successor in 2027 and thus the value of the EX will plummet on the second hand market (like the 8 non-EX did). Is that likely to happen, or will the EX be endgame for a couple years at least?

2026/27 Men's Season Tickets

Everyone at the club is looking forward to putting last season behind us and rallying together to make this season one to remember. As a Season Ticket holder, you help St Mary’s feel alive on match day through your loyalty and passion and we can’t wait for you to be here with us once again.

As with many clubs and businesses, we continue to face rapidly rising operating costs across a number of areas. In the year ahead, increases in the National Minimum Wage, supplier pricing, energy costs, policing and the ongoing maintenance required at St Mary’s are expected to add around £1m to the club’s cost base, with further uncertainty expected.

We have worked hard to absorb these increases as much as possible to protect supporters and will continue to do so wherever we can. However, to ensure we can maintain standards across the club and continue investing in the team and supporter experience, a modest increase in Season Ticket prices is unfortunately unavoidable this year.

Renewal prices will increase on average by £1.23 per game for adults and 81p per game for Under 18s.

Even with this adjustment, Season Tickets continue to offer strong value, with adult prices starting from £478, working out at just over £20 per match, while Under 14 prices start from £75 and Parent & Child packages from £624, or just over £27 per match.

We remain committed to taking a measured and responsible approach to pricing. In recent seasons, we have taken steps to support supporters wherever possible with price freezes and reductions in three of the last four years

This year’s adjustment reflects the ongoing balance between affordability for supporters and the financial realities of running the club. We have taken deliberate steps to try and protect renewal prices from rises as much as possible, meaning that the average adult renewal will save £40 versus a new Season Ticket purchaser and will save £208 or 34% against match-by-match pricing.

Season Ticket holders will again benefit from a range of added value and flexibility across the season, including the option to spread payments across seven months and a refreshed package of vouchers and matchday benefits.

Those benefits include two £10 retail vouchers that will be sent in July and February and will be valid across the entire retail range including replica kit. There will also be 10% discounts on match day food and beverage purchases until 45 minutes before kick-off.

Season Ticket Holders will also receive a wide range of discounts and money off vouchers for The Dell and LEVEL1 throughout the course of the season.
Your backing continues to play a vital role in driving the club forward. We remain committed to delivering the best possible experience for our supporters and look forward to building on the fantastic St Mary’s atmosphere next season.

Nayeem Hasan allegedly assaulted by policemen in Chattogram

Bangladesh cricketer Nayeem Hasan was reportedly assaulted by the police in Chattogram on Friday night when Nayeem was headed home from the Dhaka airport after his team Prime Bank Cricket Club's Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League match, which he didn't play, in Savar, near Dhaka, earlier in the day.

The policemen stopped the CNG-run auto-rickshaw he was in near the city's Lalkhan Bazar area. Nayeem described the officers as being hostile, though he wasn't aware of the reason for their aggression. He said they caught him by the throat and pushed him into another auto-rickshaw to take him to a police station. Onlookers reportedly told the police that he was a national cricketer, but they didn't pay heed.

"I repeatedly told them who I was, but they refused to listen," Nayeem told reporters in Chattogram later. "The police beat me indiscriminately with sticks and plastic pipes. Later, when I identified myself at the police station, the officer-in-charge told me to keep my eyes down while speaking.

"If they were really police officers, why did they try to put me into a CNG instead of a police vehicle? I want a fair investigation and justice over the entire incident."

Chattogram Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner Amirul Islam told reporters that action would be taken against those found guilty. "It appears initially that the officers involved did not follow proper procedures during the operation," Amirul told The Daily Sun. "We will ensure that he [Nayeem] receives justice, and whoever is found responsible will be brought under punishment."

"After Nayeem called me last night, the other board officials and I have tried to do whatever we could to help him. We are speaking to everyone concerned, and have been in close touch with Nayeem and his family too"Tamim Iqbal

Nayeem was released in the early hours of Saturday and returned home.

A number of prominent Bangladesh cricketers reacted to the incident on their social media pages, with senior pro Mushfiqur Rahim saying, "What happened to Nayeem is absolutely unacceptable. I want a fair investigation of the incident. I am hurt and ashamed at what happened to Nayeem. I protest this incident as a Bangladesh citizen. Nayeem, we are with you!"

The BCB said in a statement on Saturday morning that it expects a "thorough and impartial investigation" about the incident.

"The Bangladesh Cricket Board expresses its deep concern regarding the reported incident involving harassment and abuse of Bangladesh national team cricketer Nayeem Hasan by some law enforcing agency members in Chattogram on Friday evening," the BCB statement said. "The board strongly condemns the unacceptable and inappropriate conduct displayed towards the player and views the matter with the utmost seriousness. Such treatment of a national athlete is deeply regrettable and warrants immediate attention.

"The BCB expects a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident and urges the relevant authorities to take appropriate action against those found responsible."

The Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh has also demanded strict action against those involved in Nayeem's alleged harassment.

Nayeem was named in the 15-member Bangladesh squad that will travel to Zimbabwe for the one-off Test later this month. Nayeem has played 14 Tests since making his debut in 2018.

How is the Claw 8 EX AI+ releasing in 2 weeks but the price + preorder information still hasn’t been confirmed yet?

For comparison, Lenovo unveiled the Legion Go 2, its price and preorders a month and a half before it officially released. And that was when RAM and SSD prices were ridiculous too.

Feels like MSI are leaving this last minute and a lot of potential customers will lose interest as a result

Confident Bangladesh pose Australia a fresh challenge after 15-year wait for an ODI series

The voyage of discovery for Australia's depleted one-day squad now moves to Dhaka against a Bangladesh side who are confident on their own turf. The visitors had hoped for reinforcements by now but that hasn't proved the case with captain Mitchell Marsh still sidelined and Travis Head granted leave from the whole tour. But they were not a million miles away from beating Pakistan in spin-heavy conditions.

It is the first men's bilateral ODI series between these teams for 15 years. One of the intriguing aspects of this leg of the tour is what conditions will confront Australia in only their second ODI series in the country. In times gone by it would have been billed as another trial by spin, but it may not play out that way this time. Pace bowling is now having a big say in Bangladesh. Across the six ODIs played this year - five of which have been in Mirpur, the venue for this series - pace bowlers have taken 69 wickets at 22.60 while spin has accounted for 26 at 35.50.

Having largely relied on Nathan Ellis for the last two matches in Pakistan - and even he was effectively bowling fast cutters most of the time - along with a handful of overs from Cameron Green, the likes of Xavier Bartlett and Ben Dwarshuis could well have a role to play.

Should pace play a significant part that should, in theory, provide a more familiar challenge for Australia's batters. However, a home attack that could consist of Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed and the variations of Mustafizur Rahman should pose plenty of questions, especially for those struggling for form such as Marnus Labuschagne - if he is able to retain his place in the side. That isn't to say spin won't be a threat as well, with Bangladesh well covered in that department. Either way, it's been a country where the bowlers are in the game: there hasn't been an ODI total over 300 in Bangladesh since 2023.

The hosts have won their last four series at home - against Sri Lanka, West Indies, Pakistan and New Zealand - and while each of those teams have had problems of their own, Bangladesh have found a formula that is working.
