Max cushion shoe for wide feet?

I'm getting back into running after many years and so I'm basically starting from zero, I'll need to slowly build my distance with easy miles, and need a shoe for it. I also have wide feet and used to run mostly barefoot on grass or treadmill because I couldn't find any shoes that didn't squish my foot sideways back then.

Excited to try out today's running shoes and was almost about to get the Vomero 18, but I read that it's known to be narrower than usual. Are there any that are at least a little on the wider side if not proper wide sizes? Would prefer more affordable options.

Also can I get something like the Evo SL as my only starter shoe? I really like the look but everything told me it's not the right choice.

Foot measurement: Length - 26.5 cm, Width - 11.0 cm

Supernova Rise 3 on official site for 7.5k - is there a catch (as a Pegasus/Cumulus alternative)

I've done very little research so far and I don't know too much about shoes. Looking for a nice shoe to replace my cheap Kalenjis. Do 15k/week right now and might end up doing 25k/week on these. I was looking at Nike Pegasus and Asics Cumulus as they are the most recommended daily trainers, but looks like you have to wait for deals on third party sites for those.

How can Windows better show how many windows are open.

In the first one one you see the marker below the icons has changed to show how many windows each app has open.

In the second one there's a bubble on the top left showing a number.

Do you think this would be an improvement?

Shoes for WIDE feet? (2E/4E sizes)

I've had the problem that most shoes are too narrow for me and I have always got a size higher, but it's still not wide enough. Just came to know that some brands like NB, Brooks do sell wider sizes, but they seem to be impossible to find in India. Have any of you brought wider sizes, where can I get them. My width is 110mm and UK size 8.

Cardboard to block out the rear gaps = fire risk?

I'm looking for a way to stop air from getting in through the gaps at the back, because I've created my own DIY side and bottom panel filters using 120 mesh nylon, so I don't want any unfiltered air to come into the case (have a TON of dust).

Do you think this is a fire risk, or will the case not get hot enough for that? Google tells me paper ignites above 200C so I guess should be fine? If not maybe there are 3d printed parts out there to block these gaps if someone else has done it?

Using old.reddit for language learning.

I've been finding using reddit feed of foreign countries much more helpful than most other methods. It's usually topical and more relevant to pop culture, and the people posting are mostly natives, so it's great for immersion and you get to learn a lot about what's going on there. This is what I do (on a browser)

  1. Open the old reddit site for your target country (TL) https://old.reddit.com/r/popular/?geo_filter=IT
  2. Translate it using the browser if you want a quick english translation to check things

Reason why you can't use the regular reddit app/website is because the reddit feed tries to be smart about it and will feed you english content anyway, while the old.reddit site is almost entirely content in the target language.

Now if someone can tell me a way to translate the page with a keyboard shortcut (and back) that would be perfect.

Remap that allows you to use most right side keyboard buttons without taking your hand off the mouse

I was looking for a way to remap all the keys that make you take your hand off the mouse, because the default remaps were honestly not too useful to me. That way I would have to take my hand off the mouse less often. I needed to remap these keys which I use a lot:

  1. arrow keys

  2. home/end

  3. enter

  4. delete

I don't have enough buttons for home/end unfortunately so that's on the actions ring for now. If the mouse had even more buttons I would love to remap backspace and up/down and home/end to dedicated buttons. Anyone else prefer this to the default mappings? I think this actually saves time as you don't have to take your hand off the mouse.

Also the wheel still works as a side scroll in most contexts as left/right arrow keys usually do the same thing. On top of that you can press Ctrl and Shift with the left hand to select text very easily with just the mouse.

India's richest man's chauffeur uses a Rolls-Royce to threaten a pedestrian

Since the Ambanis are so powerful there is zero media coverage for this, and most Indians too support the driver because they are conditioned over many generations to worship the rich.

What changes did you notice after you started taking adequate protein?

Most people probably start protein and workout together, so it's going to be a bit hard to isolate the effects of protein alone, but still, I would like to get observations from people here that moved from the typical Indian high carb diet to a high protein (or normal protein I guess) diet.

What changes did you notice in your body. In case you noticed nothing, feel free to comment that too.

Is /r/Kylaq the largest Indian car community on reddit?

I couldn't find any subreddit for any other car model with more users than this one....

How to reduce dust with Formd T1

I live in a VERY dusty area and my CPU cooler fins get completely jammed with dust, meaning effectively no air is flowing through them. It's a combination of strands and fine dust which together create a perfect web over the fins. Something like the below image but imagine much worse, this is just after 1 month.

https://preview.redd.it/9v1xnvkxp89h1.png?width=170&format=png&auto=webp&s=676af67fa69864a4de64c7d53118fea91da5c728

Right now I have two fans throwing air out of the top. I'm thinking of doing one of two things:

  1. buy fine mesh, either nylon 120 mesh or 20 denier fabric and cover the sides and bottom panels with it, fan layout stays same.

  2. Make top fans suck air IN instead, and only put a fine mesh on top panel.

Which one do you think is going to work better.

And yes I know that not letting dust in the room is a better solution, but that's not an option in the short term.
