Trying to find the spark in Electronics again!

Trying to find the spark in Electronics again!

Hello everyone,
I studied in a technical high school where I studied electronics as the main subject in my 8,9&10.

I was fascinated to learn about Resistors, capacitors and all other components. I even learned to solder and make half/full bridge circuits.

Then I took commerce in 12th and didn’t really get a chance to do electronics again.

Now I’m my 30s and I’m trying to spark that interest again. Spending my adult money on things I wanted.

I only learned the basics and not about microcontrollers. Now I work in IT and I’m trying to combine my coding skill with electronics.

I ordered the soldering kit, some breadboards, wires, ESP32, capacitive moisture sensor.

My first goal/mini project is to make a moisture meter for my indoor plants. Read the data, send it to RaspberryPi over wifi and make a dashboard about it.

Order the above items from Robocraze.
Multimeter from Amazon
Moisture sensors (not in this pic) from Techiesms

Wish me luck!

Looking for a trustworthy RTO agent in YPR

I’m looking for an RTO agent for Yeshwantpur RTO to get my brother’s bike Duplicate RC.
Last year July we went to the RTO office ans one agent lured us to get us our job done.

We submitted all the documents needed and paid around ₹4,000 to him. He turned out to be a leach who just wanted to suck money out of us.

We followed up with him multiple times and he would just say this issue and that issue and never really got the work done.

I’m looking for a legit, trustworthy and reliable agent whom you have personally got the job done from the ypr rto office.

My brother lives in Europe and only comes once a year, so we only get him once year to apply for the DRC.

First service update - ADV 390

I just got my first service done of KTM Adventure 390 (350cc) today. I opted for Motul oil. Total cost was ₹2568. They tried selling me the Prolube fuel system cleaner / additive which I refused. I asked them not to wash the bike as well after seeing how the washing guy was handling the bikes.

The oil level is way above the max mark. The picture I have attached is when the bike is in side stand. When I keep it upright, it goes up even. No gap visible at all.

They have added 1.7L of engine oil even though manual says 1.5/1.6L. I asked the guy multiple times about it being above the max level and he kept saying “No sir, that’s the standard amount we use for engine oil, don’t worry about the level. It is the same measurement for all the bikes and not just your vehicle. Anyway the engine has 10 years warrant and even if something happens the company will replace it”. If the engine is gonna get f*cked, almost all engine is gonna go kaput.

I’m not sure if I should remove the extra oil as some of you have done here.

I complained about the rattling noise from the panel around the ignition key which is not fixed.

Location: KTM Indiranagar, Bangalore.

Manual for Adventure 350cc

Did anyone get manual booklet with their bike ?
I have heard that KTM doesn't provide manual booklet for their bikes and only provide PDFs.

I haven't found the PDF specifically for KTM Adventure 390 (350cc) yet.

Can anyone share a link for it ?

Pooped my pants

33M, was on a motorcycle ride and I pooped my pants while I was standing and looking for a restaurant.

I was diagnosed in 2016. Doc mostly put me on Mesalamine 800mg x3 orally and occasionally on Prednisone if I flare badly.

I’m kinda lazy guy and often skip my Mesalmine doses. So I have been passively flaring for past weeks. I’ve been gasy and farting too.

So I reached mu destination and I stopped and decided to look for restaurant. I had an urge to let out a fart but also got the urge to poop all of a sudden. I can usually control it with the muscle down there (as a normal person could) but this time I was just helpless and my muscle wouldn’t listen to me.

I had to just stand there dying inside while the poop just kept coming out and out. Didn’t even panic, I was just dead inside.

Then I searched for a public toilet and went there to clean the mess. (Lucky we use water inside toilet)

Had to wash my undie, riding pant and wash myself too.

I had to ride 4 hours smelling like shit, literally.

Rant over.

I saw Thimmapana Betta in Windows wallpaper

I’vee seeing many nice wallpapers from Europe and it always wanted to make me travel there. I used to think how lucky the people that live close to there to see such beautiful places near them.

Today, it showed me Thimmapana Betta and it instantly brought a smile on my face. I had visited this place in 2017. It made me think that if someone outside India would have seen it, they must also be thinking the same way as I thought.

Creeper but beautiful

Usually the invading creepers are considered ugly but this one is an exception.

Identify these creepers

I went shopping for creepers specifically. But the shopkeeper said some names for which I’m not sure if it is the right name. I’ll include the name he mentioned below.

Pic 1,2,3: “Gaslow/Glaslow”
Pic 4,5: “Gasgade vine”
Pic 6,7: “Garlic vine”

Not sure if they are the real name. Could someone please identify?
