I want to make a blanket for my niece (16 y/o) who recently decorated her bedroom for the first time in 2 shades of green.

She has a full size bed, and I want it to overhang, so it will end up being queen size.

I'm using Premier Yarns Puzzle in Maze. I have two possible contrast colors if the pattern requires it.

Hard requirements:

1. Must be scalable to Queen size

2. No gaps!!!

3. Young and fun vibes (no cables etc)

4. Video tutorial massively preferred

Point 2 is really important. I need it to be as solid as possible. No chance of toes or fingers peeking through holes.

I'm an intermediate level crocheter.

Does anyone have a go-to pattern that fits this list of wants? I've tended to stick to baby blankets and cardigans and onesies so far. A lot of my patterns are either too young looking (bobbles and starbursts) or just don't scale up well.

I'd appreciate you throwing me your favorite patterns.
