A user posted in my sub and his history was entirely hidden from me. I went on Google to find him & using the links I found there, I was able to able to view comments from him 18d ago. He hasn’t blocked me. The ability for mods to view content by people who participate in our subs is broken.

By the by, I think all of you who participated in this thread might owe the OOP an apology.

Someone made some sus comments on my sub 6d & 2d ago. They didn’t get reported until today, and I just checked them. They’re toxic, misogynistic, and constitute misinformation. I removed them.

I wanted to see if I needed to ban the guy, though, so I went to his profile. It turned out that his entire history was not visible to me.

I went to Google and searched him by username. I found some of his Reddit posts/comments and clicked them.

**It turned out I CAN see his content, even though I’m logged in. So he DIDN’T block me.**

To verify this was an error, I logged in under an alt and, sure enough, his content was entirely not visible to me when I clicked his profile. But if I went to Google and click a link to his content found there, I CAN see his content (logged in as an alt here for verification).

TLDR; The promised ability for mods to see 28 days of contributions posts/comments for 28 days by Redditors who participate in our subs is broken.

EDIT: H/T to u/RexCanisFL. We were able to narrow down that the problem does not appear to be with CURATED profiles, but with WHOLLY HIDDEN ONES. It seems the 28-day look back function works well when a user's profile is curated, but it does NOT seem to be functioning when a user's profile is entirely hidden.

EDIT2: Well, my theory was just disproven. I have no idea why I am unable to view the history of the user I mention in this post.

For those who were around & remember (I was on an NBA hiatus after being scarred by the ML Carr years), what was the fan reaction when Truth & KG were about to be traded?

I'm imagining there wasn't as much split opinion by the fans.

JB is still in his prime and 3 yrs under contract.

Pierce and KG both had 2 yrs left, but we're at the tail end of their primes.

Was there a quiet resignation by the fans that we had gotten as far as we could with those guys and the time to move on had come?

Am I the only one who thinks of this sub when I see this ad? Have I used too many colored condoms in my youth?
