Any opinion on directorials of Vijay Patkar

Actor - director Vijay Patkar is known for numerous comedy roles that he has portrayed.

As a director he has directed around 7 films.

Among those Ek Unaad Diwas and Chashme Bahaddar were the ones I enjoyed watching.

Should he continued to have directed more such films ?

Was 'Matichya Chuli' the first time a movie officially announced an actor's death and acknowledged their replacement mid film?

I guess, apart from Matichya Chuli, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Sharmaji Namkeen are the only two films were the makers had to resort over this unfortunate predicament of mid film replacement of actors due to death.
