Came across an article on Digpal Lanjenkar which notes that he has begun filming the next installment of "Shri Shivaraj Ashtak" franchise titled Daryabhavani, which is due to release on January 2027.
It's amusing to see that on one hand Akshay Kumar is criticized for alloting less than 60 days for Samrat Prithviraj and on other hand less than 4 months is alloted to complete the film and release Lanjekar directed Daryabhavani.
For a film that would be a first to showcase maritime strategy of Maratha Empire, it
seems that the director is unperturbed about the reaction that his upcoming directorial may receive, though not surprising considering how badly received Ranapati Swari Agra or Bhakti films directed by him were made.
Few months back, Indian Express had posted a editorial thanking Justice Jamdar of Bombay High Court for setting aside the externment order against a politician named Saeed Ahmad Abdul Wahid Chaudhary, who represented a political party named SDPI.
For those who are unaware SDPI is the political wing of banned radical organization Popular Front of India, and in the process of criticizing the govt, it whitewashed the antecedent of SDPI/PFI in a subtle manner.
This resulted in me losing my trust for the newspaper and since then any revelation that the newspaper has done, is with the purpose of creating mischief.
