hi, returning player here. any changes that i should get used to?

started playing in 2021 on my nintendo switch, abandoned my account in 2023/2024 because my switch broke and i couldn't handle the fomo lol. i wonder how much this game has changed? gameplay-wise and community-wise.

i know it's been years now, and i've been thinking of getting back into the game. for my sake of my own sanity, i won't be playing as often / collect as many cosmetics like before, and i'll be playing solo. i just want the chibi mask.

my question would be: can i get the chibi mask without trading hearts with other players? because that's how i got it before.

2nd time playing lis. my 1st ending was the one where they surrendered, sean got locked up, and daniel got house-arrested. i wanted to cross the border but i was so scared daniel didn't want to go through with it. yeah it sucks, but at least they're not separated between countries right?

and this is is where my fear just got realized. i thought i made sean be a lenient brother. I'm less strict with Daniel's power this time. i thought that would make daniel want to cross the border with sean. though i tried not to steal, or hurt anyone. i didn't want their list of crimes to stack up. is that where i went wrong? daniel did say he didn't want to hurt anyone.

i literally closed the game via task manager when daniel threw himself out of the car. call me too much, but i can feel my body shaking. i never had such strong reaction from a video game. lis2 is amazing isn't it?

i love their bond so much you guys :( i don't want them to be separated.
