Tired of updates breaking the Spotify client on Windows? Try this

I discovered this app a couple of weeks ago and it has been a breath. Every Spotify auto update would break my playback and bring new issues within the interface. This allow you to block auto updates. So I thought I would share. You can also hide podcast and all the fuss : )

Can be installed with a simple script running Powershell as an admin. Link below:

Enjoy!

PS: This is not a piracy app. Just a patcher for you to run Spotify stable

How to quit game from controller?

Hi fellow gamers. How do I quit games in eden using my controller? Asking because I use moonlight and I simply can't quit any game without quitting the session on moonlight.

EDIT: FOUND A WAY!

Hotkeys in the settings>controller hotkeys. Works like a charm.

Menus in full screen apps and in game freeze

I've been setting up Sunshine and Moonlight. The host is my PC and the client is my Chromecast 4K — both devices are fully wired. Games work fine, though I can't go above 10 Mbps bitrate. Resolution is 1920×1080 @ 60fps. CPU: Ryzen 9700X / GPU: RX 6800 XT, codec forced to HEVC (more problems with others). The issue is that whenever I enter full-screen menus (Playnite, Steam Big Picture Mode, in-game menus, etc.), my screen freezes for 2–3 seconds and I get stutters I can't explain. Games are playable with around 7ms latency, but as soon as I navigate menus, I see network lag spikes up to 99% and stutters — I'm checking with the LERF overlay from Moonlight. In-game performance is perfect with zero drops. It's driving me crazy — I've tried different settings on both host and client, nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've also tried reinstalling both the host and client apps. Sunshine seems to give me the most stable configuration when using a virtual desktop.

EDIT: Typo

Finally fixed my AMD driver issues by doing one stupid thing.

Honestly, I feel like an idiot. I’ve spent months troubleshooting driver issues, stuttering, and Adrenaline crashes. I had BOSD and my computer would actually reboot while in game sometimes.... I thought I was safe because I had "Device Installation Settings" set to OFF in Windows.

Well, turns out this setting is complete bullshit. Windows still "ninja-installs" a generic driver the split second you reboot after a DDU wipe, even with that toggle off. It happens so fast you don't even see it, and then you install your actual driver on top of that mess. Result? Instant stability issues and weird errors.

The only way to actually fix it: Download your driver. Kill your internet. Physically unplug the Ethernet or disable your ethernet adapter / disable Wi-Fi. Run DDU in Safe Mode and restart. Install the new driver while OFFLINE.

Only then, put the internet back on.

Boom 💥, just did this and the difference is night and day, no more crashes in bf6, no more unstable UV and OC, 6800xt runs like a charm on latest drivers (26.5.1), awake screen from sleep works again...

If you're on AMD and fighting with your drivers, stop trusting the Windows toggles and just pull the damn plug.
