For the past year Co-Coder Wardle2403 and I have been working hard on The Goons and the Mystery of the Strange Cabinet [Unofficial Workshop Expansion Mod]

This Mod adds the legendary trio into Zakov on a map rotating spawn system

Each Goon includes their own custom gun and legendary armor plus, Fully functioning and working Pipe you can load and smoke, Backpack with antenna that lights up near high threats, and an attachment you can toggle different colors.

A strange cabinet has appeared in the bunker.. or has it always been there who knows. Investigate and unlock the secrets within.

GOONS is a large unofficial expansion for ZERO Sievert built to feel like something that could exist naturally alongside the base game. It adds a new storyline centered around a strange locked cabinet in the bunker, eventually pulling you into new characters, quests, locations, systems, secrets, and some increasingly questionable business beneath Zakov.

Along the way you'll encounter new NPCs, weapons, attachments, consumables, collectibles, quests, custom encounters, progression systems, hidden areas, arena fights, betting, farming, bunker upgrades, rare loot, and more. A lot of the mod is designed around discovery, so not everything is meant to be explained up front.

Yes, maybe in terms of aura, TI3 or Ti5 will always be the goats in my heart. But man, something about this matchup. It was like truly watching an almost dead even matchup at the highest skill possible. I feel like its the highest level dota that has ever been played. Sure, it may not have had as many iconic explosive moments, but the restraint, frame-by-frame decision making, and positioning was off the charts. These matches had it all.

My favorite DG projects are the ones where it took the longest for them to click for me, so I hope on first listen it doesn’t immediately click. The ones that click too early are probably the albums of theirs I value the least, but still love.

The drums sound completely underwater, and it’s like that the whole runtime, the snare itself gets repetitive sounding after just 1 track but the whole album?!

The songs themselves are alright, but it really seems like they just don’t have the dynamics to their sound to allow Zach hills production to flourish. They don’t have enough for him to take away from, so what they’re left with is kinda monotone and samey sounding all the way through.

This does not sway any hype I have for the new dg album, I’m just saying. I just hope the mix fits on the new record well.

I don't really promote my music or anything, I just like to share it with people I think would vibe with it. Since I'm heavily influenced by Death Grips I feel it a good idea to share it here for you to listen to if you want.

Zach will most likely still be working on the mix by the very earliest around next February but he could take even longer than that if he feels. Rides vocals are done and have been for a while. They were finished not too long after the announcement actually. Now it’s just Zach in the studio every day, drumming, producing, and mixing.

You heard me. Wipes are actually bad for extraction shooters. The only reason wipes existed in the first place was so Tarkov could introduce new maps/content/mechanics that everyone could test out on a wiped even field. Since the game went 1.0 they completely removed wipes and instead replaced it with character self wipes through beating the game or prestiging. I believe this is the best way and the way it should be but other studios never got the memo.

Other studios just use wipes as a way to not have to actually put in end game content or just enough content for that matter. Just look at Marathon. The game has 3 month wipes because they know there's nowhere near enough content to sustain a non-wiping environment.

The biggest argument I see online from people advocating for wipes is "Early wipe is the best because everyone has trash gear and the fights are more fun and drawn out."

That's not really a thing anymore. In the first DAY of marathon season 2 you had people running around with golds. In Tarkov if they wiped people will just go farm rogues or raiders. It was fun back then because people didn't know all the ins and outs of the game. Now players know exactly where to go and what to do day 1 to get geared up.

You don't actually like wipes. What you like is the feeling of figuring out the extraction gameplay together with the community as the game has just released. The reason why this felt that way with Tarkov wipes is because most wipes introduced so much content that it almost felt like everyone was relearning the game or at least learning the new maps together. What players don't like is the feeling that everyone in the game already knowing everything while you feel like you know nothing and feel lost. Once other gamers have "figured out" everything about the game it makes you feel like you missed the boat and thus don't even try to hop on. This right here is the number 1 biggest killer for Extraction games. This is what extraction games need to figure out. Not just blindly wiping their game hoping that brings in tons of new players because it won't.

I played during season 1 and enjoyed it but noticed all the HUGE glaring flaws and dropped it. Haven’t picked it up since. Have been wanting to check out what season 2 is about, but I cannot for the life of me bring myself to do it. Every time I hover my mouse over the launch button I start to get queasy and I just can’t do it. 😭😭😭

I don’t know much about sports is why I’m asking. My dad constantly watches sports and has his whole life, and he says at his peak, Tiger Woods was the greatest athlete of all time. And he says like for instance if during his peak if he was as good as he was in golf in, let’s say basketball, that he would’ve been better than Michael Jordan or any of the other goats. I don’t know enough about sports to know if this is a correct assessment or not.

I’ve had weird dreams that somehow feel to coincide with real life but nothing like this. I was dreaming I was in some sort of treehouse concert or something like that and I was in the crowd dancing. Then out of nowhere I start feeling this blunt jabbing feeling against the lower spine of my back. Turn around and it’s some guy just jabbing me with his finger. Weird looking guy who stood out from the crowd like a sore thumb wearing like a cardigan style jacket and jeans. When I turned around he kinda lunged forward at me to keep jabbing my back and started jabbing my side as well. I freaked out and went to push him away and woke up at the exact moment I touched him. When I came to I could literally feel the “indent” where I was being jabbed. My back is absolutely knocking now. And no, it doesn’t just feel like sleeping in the wrong position back pain I’ve had that before and it felt NOTHING like this.

I’m really in a predicament here guys. I don’t want to only play against no-life pvp chads like me where’s the fun in that?!

No, Stoner does not count. It never did, it’s one of the worst skateparks ever made and doesn’t even have transition, it feels more like a glorified gazebo that’s skateable and not an actual skatepark. We need an actual skatepark with transition, mini pipes, bowls, etc. It sucks that if I want to skate any transition I have to drive all the way to Longview as that’s the closest park and it’s AWESOME don’t get me wrong, but it sucks we don’t have anything like that here in Shreveport/Bossier. Hell, Ruston is building a huge awesome park right now, so why can’t we?? We’ve asked the city multiple multiple times and the answer is the same everytime “we already have stoner” shit pisses me off so bad. I wish I had a few extra million dollars to my name I’d build one here in no time.
