At first she was giving me some licks. And then...
Goblin mode
Tatti rolls around to ask for belly rubs. How do your Torties let you know when they're in the mood for pets?
She also sleeps like that but never seems to dislike being woken by a belly rub.
I can't believe it's only been four months!!
We adopted this lot in April. Tatti (tortie) and Boru (void) were from the same litter and about two months old. Monty (piebald tabby) was a month older, from a different litter, had no siblings and was the friendliest kitten ever so we went to the foster home expecting to adopt two kittens and we left with three!!
Monty is super friendly, loves being picked up, cradled, head pets, and will lick your face.
Tatti is very cheeky, she loves pets and will tolerate being picked up. She eats everyone's food including ours. She still hasn't climbed the fence in the garden despite the other two doing so over a month ago at least. I think she's a proper house cat.
Boru is incredibly energetic. He accepts pets only if he is in the mood, he climbs anything with ease now, even more so than Monty despite being a month younger. He also does this sweet sucking thing on his side where he curls up and acts like he's drinking milk or something and makes bread with his paws.
My kitten caught red pawed... And proof I did feed her
And I threw in a belly rub pic because of cute.
Just watched the Before trilogy. What romance movies should I watch next?
First of all, if you haven't watched these films, watch them. Even if you're not particularly into romance films like me.
I've never really enjoyed the romance genre, but I heard the Before trilogy was very good, and that was an understatement. My favourite of the three was Before Sunrise. Now I'm thinking that there must be a lot great films I haven't given a go and would like to.
Are there any other romance films you would recommend for someone not that into romance as a genre. Of the top of my head the only romance films I really liked were Love Actually, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Titanic but Before Sunrise clears them both by a good margin in my opinion. Maybe Eternal Sunshine was close.
What are your favourite romance films and what would you say is essential for me to watch next?
If you can only boop one nose, which nose would you boop.
They are Boru (void), Monty (piebald tabby) and Tatti (Tortie).
This pair of troublemakers is Tatti and Boru
Tatti is the tortie and Boru is the void. Monty our tortie we also adopted at the same time but he is a month older and had no siblings of his own.
The three of them get on great but Tatti and Boru seem particularly close.
Is Tatti as photogenic as I think?
The last pic was the day we adopted her and still my favourite one!
Monty is a sweetheart who follows me EVERYWHERE
Not that I'm complaining, although in pic 2, him staring at me in the bath was slightly unnerving...
This is Tatti and there is nowhere she won't sleep.
She is 6 months old and at any time she is either fast asleep or scoffing her brothers' food. She's the best.
This triple threat likes to hang out in the shade during the summer.
Anyone else's tortie prefer playing with the stick rather than the toy?
Showing off her drumsticks and wings since she was a little chick
Monty turned into a giant floating head, what do I do???
Looking for a speedbooster for my canon r5c
I have an EF 8-15mm fisheye lens that I would like to mount on my canon r5c. I already use EF lenses so I have a meike EF-RF adapter with the internal ND filter.
The problem is that since the r5c crops the image slightly when shooting video, at 8mm the circle is cropped on the top and bottom and I'd like to get the full fisheye circle.
My solution for this would be to get a speedbooster but they all seem to be EF-RF, not EF-EF(S). I understand why (due to the flange distance and needing to match the focal plane), but for my use case I don't care about that. I'm going to be shooting super wide, deep focus so I figure that may not end up being an issue?
The reason I'm not instantly getting an EF-RF speedbooster is because I'd ideally like to be able to keep using the internal ND filter in my adapter as I can't just get a screw on variable ND for this lens, and I don't want to have to get a matte box and filters just because of this one lens.
Have I just not found the EF-EF speedbooster I'm looking for or do they actually not exist?
Is there a better ND system for me than a matte box + ND filters? I'm not even convinced a matte box would work properly due to how the fisheye lens protrudes outwards...
While I probably will be boring and end up getting an EF-RF speedbooster, does anyone have any other ideas for a solution to my problem? I don't care how dumb or if it makes my life harder than it needs to be.
Edit: turns out I misunderstood how bad the focus issue would be and I'd have a max focal distance of 10mm, so my main question now would be about using an ND with this lens. How would I go about doing that?
The front glass element protrudes past the front housing so a screw on ND is out, the lens has a 180° fov so I don't think a matte box would work...
Do any of your torties like to hide?
This is Tatti. She likes to sit and sleep under plants in the garden or on tablecloths she blends into when it gets darker.
She is genuinely harder to find than her void brother.
Anyone else find this? I'd love to see pics of your hidden torties!!
