Something I've noticed more and more in my part of London: restaurants aren't offering halal as an option, they're going halal-only across the entire menu. Often with nothing on the menu or the website saying so.

For most people this makes no difference at all, and I get why it happens commercially — it's cheaper to run one supply chain, and it doesn't cost them any customers who'd otherwise come in.

However, Sikh people actually can’t eat Halal as it goes against our religious views. As a Sikh, I find it almost hard to eat out now in London. If it's a Turkish or Lebanese place, that's obviously their tradition and I'd never expect otherwise. My issue is a Nando’s or something similar…

If it was a restaurant where Halal is an option, then fine… but to make the entire menu Halal is crazy to me.
