When do lifeguards themselves swim?

Just curious. I almost never saw our lifeguards swim, no matter what time of the day I go. I suppose they are required to regularly swim to keep up with their skills, and they surely swim in the same pool where they work? Since the pool opens early and closes late, I doubt they swim before or after the public opening time. So when do you guys swim?

Not chat service?

I'm trying to chat about my bill. AI asked me if it's about mobile or home, I clicked on Mobile. Then it says "Sorry, I couldn’t process your request. Please try again." What's going on? Not even waiting?

Which air purifiers are best for Marijuana, Vape, Cigarette?

I recently bought a Winix 5510 in hope it will filter the marijuana and vape that came in through the door and window (ground floor), also cigarette smell. These often happen at night, but I could still smell them and sometimes was even waken up by the smells, even though the unit was on. Was it because it's on night mode which was not enough, or it simply is not good for these smells? Any recommendation for a more effective model?

The dollar amount equivalent to the purchases of SKHYV shares on its first day has not been deducted on ToS

The Cash and Sweep Vehicle amount shown on ToS is more than the correct amount shown on Schwab website. The difference is exactly the amount of the purchases I made of SKHYV on July 10 (first day of its US trading). However the purchases today (second trading day) of SKHY was deducted. Why is that? (at first I thought I got some free money :)) Anyone else bought SKHYV on July 10? If so could you check if it's deducted from your cash on ToS?

Update: It has been deducted now, 7/14 morning.

Anyone got discount by using Verizon Visa to pay bill?

I read you save "Up to $10" by paying mobile bill with Verizon visa, and "Up to $20 if it's FIOS bill". Up to? So how is the discount amount determined? Has anyone actually got the discount?

Edit: I got confused. The "Up to $$" is just the Autopay discount, not in addition to Autopay discount. They only accept the Verizon visa as credit card option, or just bank account, for Autopay.

Can/Should I uncheck "Allow Incoming IPv4 WAN ICMP Echo Requests"?

I just got Verizon FIOS, and in the gateway under system, Remote Administration, I see just one field has been pre-checked: "Allow Incoming IPv4 WAN ICMP Echo Requests (e.g. pings and ICMP traceroute queries)". Why is it checked already? What's the consequence if I uncheck it for better security?

Is alternating using different filters a good idea?

Since Zerowater and Epic water filter XP work differently with different results, instead of settling on one of them (removing all minerals vs. keeping good minerals), how about alternating between the two? By which I mean sometimes I pour water from Zerowater pitcher, other times from the Epic XP pitcher, so sometimes I drink mineral-less water, sometimes the water with good minerals. Fact is that I bought both (discovered one after having bought the other).

And furthermore, I also have the Pur Plus filter pitcher which I used for a long time before discovering the above two. I let water first go through the Pur, then through each of the Zerowater and Epic XP, to prolong the life of the latter two, and also, I think letting water go through different types of filters should remove more harmful things.

Is this valid reasoning for health purpose? (I don't mind having to replace different filters at different times) (this is for city apartment living)

How will the SKHynix US listing affect the stock market in the initial days?

Obviously still remember how SpaceX IPO disturbed the stock market...... What stocks will people sell to buy this one? Or perhaps much fewer people will be aware of or interested in this than in SpaceX?

Clarifying billiong period and service period

On my monthly statement it says: Service period May 20 - June 19. Around May 23 or 24 I get email telling me the autopay date--my credit card will be charged around June 7. These dates are almost always the same each month, so normally July 7 will be the date I'll be charged again. Now, if I cancel the service after June 19 but before July 7, will I be subject to the next month's bill?

Where to find the news that pops up then is timed out?

From time to time a little yellow icon with a person's head pop up next to a ticker symbol (next to the dividend and earning report icons). Before it's timed out you can click on it and read the news, but sometimes you saw it too late and didn't get to click on it. Where can you find it again?
