Is it easy to record own voice and in game players voices on PS5 or Xbox series X?
Hi,
I’m debating on which content to get, purely for content creation. I’ve seen many people have issues easily recording their voices as well as in game voices.
With PS5 I believe you need chat link as well as another mic plugged in the console? Meaning I’d have a headset to talk to friends and a separate mic picking my voice up for the recordings (doesn’t sound ideal).
I believe chat link isn’t needed on Xbox as there’s a setting to play it directly through where game sounds go, but a little unsure as to how easy it is to pick up your own voice while talking to friends.
Any insight here is greatly appreciated!

Safe to make gaming compilation videos without copyright issues?
Hi,
I want to upload 10 minute compilations of Fortnite. I would source content across TiKTok/Insta, just 5-15 second clips. Meaning I would be clipping and putting together 50+ clips into one video.
Surely this would fall under fair use.
I’m thinking of having each users @ come up with their short clip to stay on the safe side.
Is this safe to do on YouTube in 2026?
