Saw these in Chennai airport. Any idea if these are available in other airports around the country or only government operated airports?

Check out this cool initiative by airport authority

Never realised how much north Indians watch and adore our films

Recently I went on an official trip across chattisgarh, odisha, patna and agra. We were doing a lot of consulting work. So naturally did customer surveys and some interviews with local vendors, suppliers and logistical chains.

Man these guys watch our films. They love vijay, Loki's films, listen to anirudh bgms. Most watch the dubbed versions. Also a lot of the younger generation(18-29) they don't mind watching with subs. I asked many what interest you more in tamil films, and most adore the raw action, style and mechanisms and masculine energy esp in loki films.

A lot of the middle aged folks also love some of these new age tamil films.

Apart from tamil they also watch kannada, Telugu.

Chennai recently witnessed on of its largest "pro-life" anti-abortion rally. It was also attended by the speaker of the assembly

I never thought American political expression will also land here in India. India has always had a very reasonable legal and regulatory position when it comes to abortion.

Everyone has a space for political expression in our democracy but I genuinely don't like such foreign funded political organizations doing such activities in our city.

Very annoying movie for me

If not for the IT revolution in India many of us will still be in our villages. I know my family and most from my community would have had no respect if not for IT. Capitalism for all its faults, helped lift millions from starvation, dire poverty. I just don't understand the hatred towards such people just for doing what is the best for their family and for adapting in a globalised world.

Why are those working in corporate in tamil films depicted as lazy, sexual deviants, monsters? Are film directors jealous because they couldn't seize the opportunity?

A short trip to Singapore

My second time in Singapore, this time I wanted to experience the southern tip north of Sentosa and also cover the northern parts. 5 day trip

Did a light hike from Mount faber to southern ridges, ended up being a blissful experience thanks to the rain and the atmosphere was so serene.

The Kent ridge park is really beautiful over here ❤️

I was also lucky with the weather. It was a bit humid but very bearable heat, so I was able to walk throughout.

I stayed at Kitchener rd, right next to the metro station. Helped me in cutting a lot of costs, as cafes here are cheaper and suitable to my palette.

If you are in Singapore, using the metro and bus service, will help your wallet and also traffic can be unbearable during evenings. If you are able to, Just WALK. Urban planning is superb and you can just walk around easily from one district to the next.

Metro cost: 40$ for a new card, 10$added to your card, 1-2$ per trip

Hotel: Novotel, INR 6000/night (normally much higher but I had a great discount hence I chose this) also remember all hotels in Singapore has a strict check in policy of 3PM, they are very adamant on this.

In 2010 karunanidhi halted new Sriperumbudur airport because of protests 16 years later TVK does the same with same set of reasons

My question is Why can't this state grow infra wise? I see telengana, andhra, maharashtra, Guj, Karnataka all have plans to improve their air connectivity. But where are we?

Look at Salem. A plan was already made in 2022 to improve Salem airport through road widening and construction of new towers. Again farmer protests inspite of gov giving new lands at higher value. So are tamil people okay with no development happening in their state?

Whats the use of increased manufacturing capacity if our public infrastructure is in shambles and people having no incentive to stay here? Whats the use of increased agri output if Tamil nadu's nominal income reduces?

Perils of development. Siruseri IT Park road before and after metro work

Dust, noise, narrow roads, loss of greenery but hopefully all for the better. Siruseri metro is very much needed and as residents around this area will benefit a great deal in the near future

Hope the government makes no delays henceforth 🙏🏿
