My baby (1 year old with me since February) used to love to explore for hours everyday. But about a month or two of her being with me she has started burying herself for weeks on end. I believe she comes up for water which i change and clean but i dont see her. Totally fine with this behavior if its normal but wanted to double check.

Temps are around 87-90 in the day time basking spot temp is about 93. Nightime temps 77-79. Humidity stays between 40-45 but spikes at night. I have a fan going on top of the mesh of her tank but it doesn’t get it below 50 at night.

She came up today after having been down since about may 30th. She always eats when she sees food and i did find her shed. It broke when i tried taking it out but she looked great when i inspected her. Nose and caps dont have shed so i believe it came off all in one nice piece. I weigh her when she comes up. 33 g today and she was 34 back in February. Lowest her weight has been was 32g in march. So pretty normal weight fluctuation i imagine but just want to know why she stays under so long.

I tried a humid hide but she didnt use it and it think it increased the humidity of the tank and blocked the airflow of the fan to lower the humidity so i just took it out.
