I just want to celebrate but you guys are the only people that know

You are the only one that know what Im going through and know the first people I tell that I have bed. BUT I always fall back and binge on the weekends but this weekend I had icecream in the freezer, chips and candy in my cabinet and I ate it but I didn't binge!!! I ate a normal ratio of sweets and didn't feel the urge to binge them. I'm so proud of my progress and don't even know how I got this far but I'm so proud of myself!!

Tips

Hi!

I love gothic decor but I also love whimsy and like muschroom. Does anyone have a home decorated like that and can give some inspo? I feel like it clashes to much but at the same time I don't want to just choose one.
Like a goth hippie wine maybe? That's how I dress and do makeup anyway (when I have the energy otherwise I'm just like a Adam Sandler goth type without makeup)

Also, I live in a rental with white walls. It is forbidden to repaint paint the walls in other colors than light beige, light grey and white

Edit* would also like tips on cat trees that fit the aesthetic

Renter friendly

Im moving to a new apartment, it is also newnew (built 2025) so EVERYTHING is white. Is there any renter friendly diy for wallpaper that's not peel and stick. These walls are so bad that even maskingtape rips the paint of. Or any other ideas to make a little darker?

Brave and applied for home assistance

I have accepted more of my disabilities today and contacted my city for assistance with cleaning, washing and cocking at home. I have type 1 and I don't really feel disabled enough to seek help because I'm high masking and "fit in" so well, so "why would I need help at home I just need to push harder". But no I can't I work 40h a week and socialize a lot at work, I have a cat at home to keep happy and alive. I can't do everything, I need help and I deserve help.

This is a really big step for me and I'm feeling so proud of myself, now I just hope that my city is going to approve my application!

Behavior and new owner

My cat is FERAL. I've striped my apartment down so I only have his things, my tv and furniture. He eats all my cables, I've taken down the curtains because he climbs those (he has tall cat trees), he stands in my food, he climbs on me when I'm putting his food on his plate so I'm covered in scratches and blood (his nails are trimmed but he puts the in deep anyway), he tries to jump up to my cabinet where the builders have left a very dangerous hole that my landlord says I'm not allowed to fix because the ventilation between the cabinets and the wall is needed. He has zoomies for 2-5 hours and playing with him doesn't help. All his toys are broken because he bites them until there is nothing to bite anymore.

He is 15 weeks old. His balls have descended and the vet told me he is most likely in pre puberty. They don't want to kastrate (cut them off) until he is 5 months 20 weeks old due to safety during narcosis. HOW DO I SURVIVE??? Is there any way to train away this? I will not ever use a bottle with water I think that's the same as a chock collar on a dog. He loves lemon, vinegar and the bitter sprays. I even tried putting water with cayenne pepper on some cables, he licked them clean and then got diarrhea. And he loves aluminum cause it sounds so much..

(Sorry if my English isn't the best)

Free from self harm

I've been free from sh for 1318 days.
But now I have gotten a cat and he scratches me. It hurts but then the pain reminds me of my sh.
And I'm also in a very low period right now. I don't want to start again because it's so hard to stop, and I don't want to hurt myself. But the feeling is so familiar, and I kinda get a craving if you can call it that. Any tips to reframe from it? I usually use a pen and draw on myself hard when I get the urge but it doesn't help now and since it's so warm outside I don't want to go out with blue lines across my arms

I just got a cat and I'm constantly overstimulated by him

I love him to death but he's so energetic. I have lived alone for 2 years and I'm so used to my routines and the quietness. I love being alone but felt like I needed something to live for and to do. I don't have friends or family to socialize with and I haven't had the energy to do any hobbies. My thought was to get a cat to have company, a friend, something to get me out of bed, something that gives the day a little meaning so I don't just spend the eternity on my couch.

But I hate that I can't rot on the couch, I hate having everything changed. I love him and it's a good change but I get this feeling with everything that is new. Bad or good.

I live in a studio (or maybe one bedroom?, I have one room with Livingroom, bedroom and kitchen in one, then a small closet and a big bathroom) so I can't really "escape" him either. I am looking for a bigger place tho, for both of our sakes.

It's been 5 days and I really hope I get used to this soon because I have had a meltdown everyday since I got him. Like I said it's a good change and I want this but I hate change!!!!

Advice are welcomed, not the one to get one more cat so he bothers me less because I don't want another, I can't fit another in my apartment and i generally don't belive that two cats are easier than one.

And I don't want any snark that says "well what did you expect"

Thanks for letting me rant❤️

(He is 13 weeks old, so just a kitten:) )

Edit: He also bites me when I wake up and when he has energy in the day. How do I get him to stop it hurts sooooo bad. He has access to food and toys all the time

Nintendo switch parental control

Me and my husband has separated, we have a restraining order against him and are living hidden. Before me and the children left he put a parental lock on my daughters switch lite. Is there any way to remove it without the pin? I really don't want to have to reset the whole thing to get rid of it. And if that's the only option can you keep the progress in the games?

(Sorry I don't know if I used the right flair)

And NO we can't ask him or his relatives/friends for the code

Otrohet

I want to upgrade from iPhone 13 to 17, but I have some questions

  1. Can I turn off the ai thing? (I don't like ai)
  2. Can the regular 17 turn off the camerafunction that destroys all my pictures? The auto correction or whatever it does (and I mean the regular iPhone 17 not pro)
  3. Liquid glass, is there anyway to remove it or does anyone know if there's coming an update that gives you the option to remove it? I haven't updated my 13 because I hate the liquid glass
  4. Is it worth buying a new phone? My old one works just fine, EXEPT FOR THE CAMERA THING THAT I HATE, but I will get it on sale when I renew my phone bill (don't know the English word for it but it's the free calling/texting and 5G surfing)

I just got diagnosed

I just got diagnosed with POTS. My doctor only says exercise, more salt and compression socks for treatment. I reaserched pots a few years ago and have been eating a lot of salt, using compression socks and been exercising to the extent I can. Which my doctor knows about so he basically said "just keep doing what your doing". But the problem is that I still get dissy after 5min upright and if I stand still I get dissy after 1min and faint short thereafter.

Anyone here have other suggestions that might work?

I have been thinking about a wheelchair for going shopping and such because right now I can't without fainting and I hate being forced to rely on others.

***EDIT, I forgot to mention that I also drink more water!

Jag har ingen butik i min närhet som säljer den och sen verkar den endast säljas på kiosker i de större städerna om jag förstått de rätt
