Why would matt after seeing every criminal he fights get released back and rapes another woman or kills another person even believe in mercy or the law. After seeing the peacekeepers and judges of the very system he loves be bribed and easily kill minorities, incriminate random civilians threatening big elites. You cannot even use the fact that these are exxagerated plot atmosphere created in a fictional world. It literally exists right now. America is the best example of this. The country is literally the daredevil show. Turn off body cams, cops abusing power, politicians leaning towards company interests , A LITERAL CRIMINAL PRESIDENT.

I cannot bring myself to play mankind divided again. Because i now once i 100% it thats it. Nothing left to play. I can mod as much as i can but it wont be the same. Feels so sad to have such a unique world with its tech and politics and pseudo science and society be just gone now. Ironic i guess considering the society it criticises in those games is what destroyed the franchise
