Exclusive Film and TV Original Prop & Costume Exhibition

Step inside West Hollywood’s most jaw-dropping pop-culture vault. In this video, I'm checking out the massive Propstore preview exhibition right here in the neighborhood. Instead of staring at stuff behind heavy glass in a traditional museum, we're walking the floor to look at real, screen-used props and iconic costumes from classic movies and TV shows up close. We're talking about the actual gear worn and used on set, seeing the real wear and tear, the stitching, and the details you never catch on screen. Everything you see here is about to head off to a private collector at auction, so this is our one chance to check it out in person. Costumes and props include... Superman, Batman, The Shining, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, Top Gun, Rocky, Donnie Darko, Scream, and many more...

Lords of Dogtown Filming Spots and The Real Zephyr Shop

Take a walk through Southern California skate history. In this video, I visit the real world locations from the 2005 film, Lords of Dogtown, starring Heath Ledger and Emile Hirsch. Starting with the actual building that used to be the legendary Zephyr surf shop now operating as Dogtown Coffee. From there, I track down two key filming spots from the movie: The exact hill where Emile Hirsch’s character skated down and the classic interior of Rae’s Restaurant for that memorable diner scene.

The Twin Towers of Los Angeles

If you've never been to Los Angeles/Century City, chances are you've never heard about these towers ... Completed in 1975 by the same architect behind the original World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City, Minoru Yamasaki, these towers stand 571 feet tall with 44 stories. These towers are significantly smaller than the originals, yet they are impossible to look at without being reminded of the giants that once stood over Manhattan.
