When does somebody graduate from being a "beginner"?
Title says all really.
I'm arguably a beginner (have never ran beyond a 12K or have participated in an actual race), and I used to think that you're not one when you can run a marathon. But I'm curious to see all of your thoughts on when somebody "stops" being a beginner. Is there a universally agreed upon metric/benchmark that I should know about?
Thanks in advance.
