The owner of DRIP Ybor STOLE my art. Avoid at all costs

To make a complicated story short, the owner had a dispute with his business partner and decided to steal my art that I consigned to his partner. I don’t know the details of their dispute, all I know is I stopped by to see if any of my art had sold and I was told all my art was thrown away. I later confirmed I was not the only artist this happened to over their petty problems.

Considering how they treat others creatives while trying to run a creative business I thought the community should know before supporting this business.

Hot take: a good weighted rental league is the sweet spot for competitive racing on a budget

After racing 10yrs in rentals and 6yrs in my own karts I came to the conclusion that I was too old to want to spend entire weekends at the race track. With that realization I started trying to win as many different leagues champions as I could. I had 5 tracks within driving distance of my house so I just started picking off locations to participate in. 10 years later I’m still enjoying rental racing and the challenges that driving a turd to a win brings without spending huge money or time. I love that everyone is going to experience a great karts and turds that requires you to just make the best. I think over a season it’s a great way to see who the best drivers are because theoretically everyone’s kart draws equal out over 10 to 12 races.

Dials make up 90 percent of a watch’s value

When I first got into watches I put so much weight on the movement, but as I started to get deeper into the hobby I realized I was in the minority and that seasoned collectors were prioritizing special dials. I eventually came to the same conclusion and focused on them. It’s been wild to see special dial journes in particular go bananas value wise perpetuating my thoughts that dials are what most collectors value.

Car wheel picks are a little less insufferable when the badge is from an economy car.

I admit I’m guilty of this silly trend but find it more fun to do it in mini vans and Hyundais as I am a Hyundai enthusiast which is a way of saying I’m not a car person.
