I'm clawing myself out of poverty with my first financially stable job with amazing benefits. Not too long ago I was homeless so I am quite proud of the changes! We are a single income family with 2 adults, no kids, and 3 dogs.
With that said, I'm in my mid-40s and just opened a Roth and Traditional IRA. I also have a HYSA, 3 retirement accounts through work, and I am contributing to Social Security and my job offers a pension.
All that to say, when I have spare money -- albeit not promising a lot -- should I put it in my HYSA or one of my IRAs? Think $100 at a time. Again, not a ton but progress is progress!
Our little guy has a cast and likes to chew his cast so I have been modifying 3-6m baby onesies into t-shirts for him. Granted, I also acquired a sewing machine via Buy Nothing and taught myself how to use it (thanks YouTube) to do this having never sewn or touched a machine previously.
With that said... onward! I'm going to try to do some harness holes in my boys sweaters and jackets (I have 2 other sighthounds as well).

Yes, NuvaHealth and AltRx are the same company. How do I know they're the same company? Because when I call the number it shows as "AltRx" in my caller ID, the customer rep confirmed it, Google confirms it, and other users have reported the same :)
I was one of the "lucky" ones that got the $120 off 3 vials for $165 total (Tirz + B12).
In short, I am a low maintenance user. I don't need a lot of (if any) support. And, I am fully aware you usually cannot have good customer support and an aggressive price -- that it's typically one or the other. While I wasn't thrilled with this fiasco, I was okay with it and was in no rush.
All in all and at the end of the day, I don't regret pursuing this deal. Will I order from them again? Oh, heck no!
The meds is from Casa Rx with a BUD date of 01/23/27. The vials are TINY.
I am including a pic to compare the Casa vial (15mg/0.5mL) to the Pom tall boy (68mg/5mL) and the ProRx vial (72mg/4mL).

Works as it should. No functional issues other than it being well loved <3 With that said, this model does not collapse well at all due to the double tires in the front. Please plan accordingly - both for transportation and for your home.

We have approx 32 feet of this fencing around our 3 sided apartment patio that has 11 foot high ceilings. Why you ask? Because of off leash dogs and our elderly dog just wants to sunbathe! However, we now have a smaller dog that we've been told can "scale Alcatraz" from the rescue.
We'd love to secure this fencing some way that we'd be able to have the patio door open on nice days to let our old man come in/out.
We plan to be here 1-2 more years so anything affordable is wilding appreciated!

We rent. Management will not give us another fob (interior) or key (exterior) -- even if we pay.
The pic with the yellow border is our interior door (from the hallway) and the pic with the blue door goes directly outside.
-- Interior door has a fob. The grey box on the inside is approx 2.5" wide and curved slightly inward.
-- Exterior door is keyed and we only got 1 key for 2 residents. We've tried multiple places to get a copy without success as it is a weird key (though "do not duplicate" is not on the key). Before potentially pursuing a locksmith, we thought we'd see if there was a smart lock option. The grey box is approx 2.75" wide and does not appear curved.
My spouse's health isn't great right now so we were hoping for something that would let healthcare providers and dog care providers in without having to have our interior door unlocked.
Upon a bit of Google research, maybe the August Smartlock (model without keypad)?
We currently have USAA renters insurance with modest limits for about $35/m. We noticed it covers earthquakes without an additional add-on. We used to have our auto through USAA as well but it cost excessively expensive so we switched to Progressive and are saving about $100/m on auto, without switching renters, with apples to apples coverage.
We were shopping around for new auto and renters insurance and was curious if there were any renters policies that also covers earthquakes by default? We liked the price of All State auto/renters but it doesn't cover earthquakes.
We are living in the PNW for the next 1-2 years.

You know the ones -- long handles, electric, different attachments? I'm specifically looking to get something that helps with showers, floors, and the toilet. I have a bum back and don't really want to manually scrub (even if it has a long handle) if possible. And there's no way we can afford a regular cleaner.
If they're worth it any specific recommendations?

Disclaimer: I tend to lean away from Pom for my orders because the $75 "consult" fee and the (eventual) lab requirement is a bit cumbersome when so many other telehealths don't require it.
I am a patient facing health care provider and work within a hospital system. I know my body well, I know how it responds to things, and I am low maintenance. When there are lower barrier options out there - it just may be a better fit for some. That doesn't mean Pom is doing anything wrong or that I am by leaning into other options.

Help with stroller recommendations! Jude needs a new stroller. He's in a leg cast and can't go on walks. It needs to be lightweight with carrier portion having the ability to detach from the base -- bonus points for the cup holder tray.
He broke his leg before we brought him home and his body started to reject the bone plate and the bone plate was visible outside of his body. Thus, the surgery was to remove the bone plate and put in bone graft.
Yes, right now we need it for surgery recovery but as an Iggy owner we all know it will likely be used far beyond the initial need.

Context: We bought the Zoosky 3-in-1 Pet Stroller (pictured) but he figured out how to undue the clips and release the canopy. The stroller was delivered on 07/09/26 and on 7/15/26 we decided to not use it anymore for his safety. Less than a week! $110 wasted since it's been used and Amazon is Amazon. Yes, we reached out to the company who offered to send us velcro straps but that would be a whole different hassle based on this stroller's design.
Our tiny, 10 pound, Italian Greyhound is in a full leg cast for awhile. We bought a Zoosky stroller (size small) but he was able to find a way to open the canopy [rolls eyes of course he did].
We like having the carrier and the stroller separate as he has a lot of appts right now and cannot walk at all beyond quick potty breaks. I've eyed Tavo but seems silly to spend $600+! Also eyed HPZ and Ibiyaya Maxi Deep but their strollers don't separate carrier and base.
He does sit up pretty tall though as a far warning.

Lincoln got a new "Cadillac" today. He's aging rapidly and cannot tolerate the walks like he used to be loves being outdoors with his Moms. He had another "Cadillac" but it needed upgrading with a canopy to prevent people from saying hi to him while he's sleeping.
