I was honestly surprised by how many pieces I had that fit this theme! It was really last minute and I threw it together the night before, but I thought it turned out pretty okay!
I’ve been actively taking an oral contraceptive for a while now, and about a month ago decided to stop, due to mood-based side effects.
I just went to the doctor today for a medication check-in, as I’ve also been taking Cymbalta for the last 9 months, and I’ve gained almost 20 pounds.
Has anyone else experienced weight gain with the pill, and maybe the pill paired with an SSRI/SNRI?
I’m hoping to get back to my normal self now that I’m off of it, but it was quite jarring considering I’m not someone who gains that much in such a short amount of time.
What are some of y’all’s favorites? I love Ginger Snaps and am open to any style of movie – I’d like to rewatch the Underworld series as well.

The first 3 photos are current day – I typically wear it up/back for work like in the second photo, and when it is down, I don’t think it’s very flattering on me. I recently got a haircut as a refresher, but I’m still not quite pleased with how I look.
I can’t decide if I would look best if I just stick it out and keep growing it, or if I look better with it shorter like in the last two photos, which are from about 2019-2020.

I hardly ever wear my hair down, whether it be for work or for convenience – I like the way it looks up, but it sometimes feels pointless to even keep it longer if I never show it. I’ve had short hair at many times in my life, the last 3 pictures being about 6 or 7 years ago. Do I continue to grow it out, or should I chop it off again? Which suits me better?
I’m a barista and work 6-7 hours on my feet everyday. I am unfortunately picky about the way my shoes look to some extent, but I really like the style of ASICS and Keens. Which would give me more bang for my buck, and hold up my soles better? Thanks in advance!
I love my personal style and don’t intend on changing it completely, but it’s become increasingly difficult to find pants or bottoms that fit in a way that make me look proportional. I obviously know I can’t change my body shape simply by how I dress, but I have a clear pear shape and don’t want to appear so bottom-heavy. I haven’t read, or even finished a book in years, and after purchasing Spoiled Milk about a month ago, I actually managed to read it all!
