Hey guys just wanted to make everyone in the Austin area known of a startup local to Austin Texas (Golden Home Management)
This is a data collection company disguised as a “ home Maintenance” company,
They will come into your home record your conversations which seems super shady and take photos of all serial numbers of your appliances and various other things in order to sell our data.
For the record I have gathered quotes from them using their vendors meanwhile I’m never able to talk to said vendor directly after doing my own research I’ve realized these quotes were way higher then any I’ve gathered on my own which tells me there is no real benefit to using a free service if I’m going to be paying 20% to 30% more.
I understand we live in a world where our data is being spread all over the place but this company coming into my home and doing all of this just didn’t sit well with me so I figured I’d reach out and see if anyone else has experienced this as well?
I noticed the time on my lock screen had this weird orange bubble behind it tonight. I know the tiny orange dot means the mic is on, but I’ve never seen the entire time bar turn orange like this while my phone was just sitting there locked.
I have a bunch of work apps on my phone (Slack, Teams, etc.) and honestly, it’s making me paranoid that an employer-managed app might be secretly recording audio in the background after hours without me knowing.
Is that even possible on iOS, or am I just overthinking a weird visual glitch? I checked my Control Center right after but didn't catch the app name before it went away. Has anyone else seen the time highlight like this

Sadly I lost my main key for my 2022 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Access Cab, so right now I’m down to just my spare. I found these replacement keys/fobs on Amazon and wanted to ask if either of these would actually work for my truck before I order one. My plan is to buy the key online and then have a locksmith cut/program it. Has anybody here done this successfully with a 2022 SR5 Access Cab, and if so, do these look like the correct option? Any advice would be appreciated because I really don’t want to order the wrong one. Thanks!
