Did yearly tune up on my ~16 year old Carrier AC. Technician pointed out a lot of rust on the evaporator coil and noted that I'm at the trail end of life. I was quoted two options for replacement:
Bosch 18 Seer variable output heat pump with matching Bosch coil with TXV valve at $7.5k or a Tempstar 16 Seer single output air conditioner with matching Tempstar coil with TXV valve at $6.2k.
For heating I us a gas furnace that is new. If I go the Bosch heat pump, is that redundant heating? How will that work?
Got tickets to state baseball game. Berm area. I noticed that people seem to camp out at the gate with a mad rush to claim a spot. How early do you gotta tailgate to be able to claim a decent seat?
