while starting on our 3 transfer journey from zermatt to grindelwald, the train abrupt stopped just as we starting leaving the zermatt station.

the train door opens and i hear an attendant yell “are you fucking stupid???” and a couple rushes onto the train completely out of breath pulling suitcases saying “sorry sorry” . the attendant and yelled “stupid americans” after them.

turns out these bozos ran past the platform, past plenty of warning signs, and ran along the tiny little edge hauling all their shit to catch the damn train that was already speeding off. there literally was another train on 30 mins

i actually cannot believe they stopped the train for them! the attendant spent like 5 minutes cursing them out in german under his breath. also thanks to these idiors we had to RUN to get to our transfers since it delayed the train by 5 minutes. bunch of entitled idiots

last episode she was on the phone with the godbrother and they were still in US.

now all of a sudden 5 of her family members are able to take time off of work and fly to lagos at the drop of a dime for… a wedding they didn’t know about?

none of this makes ANY sense and i smell production shenanigans

i’m seeing a massive drop of saver AA J flights. which means they’re bookable on AS, JMB, BA etc. looks like the next 3-4 weeks? lots out of CLT PHL ORD and JFK to LHR/CDG/AMS/ZRH/FRA

many have 2+ seats. snagged 2x JFK to CDG for 42k JMB ea.

would we be on a weird situation where salina would not have known she won?

as far as i can tell finnair historically, unofficially, didn’t charge the full cancel fee if you taxes were less than 50 euros, you just lose the taxes.

i got my sub back in january. i need to cancel a hotel stay i made back in january due to an itinerary change.

this would refund 1.3k back to my card, and definitely put me below the threshold for original SUB terms.

does anyone know if AMEX claws back subs after a refund this long ago??? and if they do, would spending more on the card now prevent this?cla

which of these would you choose? i already have the PE booked. do you think it’s worth more than double the skypesos for D1? also there’s benefit of it being a longer flight that gets me much closer to home.

haven’t really kept up with travel changes since booking trip. i booked this itinerary before these EES issues cropped up… was a little worried about the 54m transfer but historically that’s been plenty of time in MUC from past research. it actually felt like a plus since the timing of the flight is great.

now im definitely worried. and with BOS not being our final destination (have repo flight back home booked with points) if they bump us to another flight, im definitely not catching my repo flight.

booked with aeroplan… any ideas? flight is in mid-august. i see some options that will go direct ZRH- IAD and then i can get a new repo flight. would just have to eat the cost of higher price (15k more each) and change fees.
