This AI auto-message shit is ridiculous

Obviously I turned it off for myself, but I have absolutely zero interest in getting AI auto-messages and AI auto-matches from other people. Just clogs up my already previously chaotic inbox, makes it harder to find what was a genuine match or connection, and above all an absolute pain to navigate. I'm not even against AI when it's actually useful, but it currently is the opposite for my experience on the app.

Freshly blonde somehow brings out the masc in me

I'm always blue, green, black, or some color of the rainbow lol, but for the good hour that I'm just blonde before recoloring I sure do feel it brings out a nice side of me.

Is this a mourning dove? [Brevard, FL]

He just doesn't look like the ones I'm used to, my ID app was saying Inca Dove but that doesn't seem right given they're very uncommon here.

Spent months trying to shoot an American Kestrel, just to finally spot one in a Target parking lot

Shoutout to my partner for letting me sit on the roof of the car looking like a maniac, as he drove around the lot helping me find the best angle 🫡

Bull Elk, After/Before

I usually keep my wildlife editing much lighter, and definitely could have gone this route with the original; but I wanted for something cute and artsy for my folk's wall.

[Japanese > English] 2 1920's Gravestones in rural Colorado.

I am doing research on these two headstones located in a small town cemetery in rural Colorado. I believe the second belongs to Misuge(or Misuye) Tsuno, born around 1890 in Japan. Based on the obituary I found and her death happening soon after giving birth to a child (8 days later), I believe she is likely the mother of K. Tsuno, the child she had just given birth to, as none of her other children in census records have names starting with a K and they were the only Tsuno's in the area.

I am hoping maybe some of the inscriptions will shed light on this, but regardless am curious as to what they say. Thank you!

Cracked piece on the right feels like it's about to come right off, dentist today or?

After brushing tonight it felt like something was stuck between these two teeth. Lo' and behold it is actually that entire cracked piece on the right trying to come off. Other tooth seems to be to a happy camper for the minute, but there is a noticeable crack on it too. If I push on the piece on the right side, the part farther from in between the teeth lifts up a bit.

I don't remember if I got cosmetic fillings on these a year or two ago or if it's my natural enamel, from what I remember the only ones I got were closer to the gumline.

Do I need to see a dentist today? Get some fancy glue and hope for the best for a bit? I'm not supposed to get any major dental work done right now due to my heart, but I also sure as fuck don't want to be in pain/sensitive if/when it decides to come off.

I want your "all hope is lost" shots

For some godawful reason I love spending time on shots that realistically should not be saved, but for one reason another have enough merit to warrant the process. Give me your extremely underexposed, your wonkily composed, or blurry weird outtakes that have just enough spark to them to make the process worth it.

The Ever-Elegant Roseate Spoonbill.

Nobody told me how silly these guys are lol. After hanging out with them for a few hours, this shot felt like the best representation of their general elegance and composure. Highlight of the day was watching one try (and miserably fail) to pick up a large branch with it's goofy-ass beak for a good 20 minutes or so. Absolutely ridiculous creatures and I'm so thankful I was able to accurately capture that.
