Long story short, I was watching the movie “A working man” and a woman had this type of tattoo down her face from her lips and I thought it looked sick as fuck, I thought it would look dope if it was paired with a black Labret ring.

I got my snake bites done January 2nd, I’m slow so I would just estimate it’s been almost 6 months, I got horseshoes in march but they were kinda small and they started leaving a crease in my lip.
Yet it was prolly because my lips were still swollen, but it’s been some time now and I think I’m ready to try again, but my question is if they are too small, can I stretch the horseshoes with pliers or something? Or would that damage the metal and the screw slot for the balls?
It’s a dumb question but it crossed my mind while I’m sitting here chewing on my flatback due to stress.
EDIT: I’m bad at explaining things and by stretching I mean pulling the bar of the horseshoe wider so they aren’t so snug on my lip if I tried putting them in again.
