YtM vs Spotify

I've been looking at getting a YtM subscription because Spotify has been getting on my nerves lately. I guess my main question is, how big are the libraries compared to Spotify for punk, metal, and rock in general, because that's what I listen to most of the time

2 1 3 saved the day

I had got some Thorogood steel toes a few months ago and instantly regretted it once I got home. the gusseted tongue kept digging into my ankle and made them unwearable. I tried thicker socks, conditioning the leather, a bandaid, nothing worked. well today I learned about the 2 1 3 lace method where you go straight to the second speed hook, go down to 1, then up to 3. it makes a world of difference and now I can finally wear these 300 dollar boots

there was a time, say 4-5 years ago when all I listened to was modern hardcore. every day I was searching for some new breakdowns to listen to. but come the end of 2024 into 2025 I just didn't love it anymore. well early this year I made it a mission to listen to hardcore again. and man, this stuff is great. the old stuff, the new stuff, all of it is just so good

maybe it's the American in me that makes me want everything to be uniquely American in my personal style. tougher (preferably MIA union made) work boots, belts, and hardcore are all things I bring into the culture for myself. does anyone else feel like that? idk if I make any sense. don't get me wrong, Docs and Oi are great, but it's too British for me
