I cannot search in the system or on most Apple apps. When searching from the home screen, nothing happens; it doesnt even show a loading icon. Same thing happens in the app drawer. This also happens in the Notes app, the Files app, and the Photos app. This is by far the most detrimental bug I’ve ever experienced on an iPhone.

This first happened when I upgraded my device to 26.4, and persisted through 26.4.1 and now 26.5. I am on an iPhone 14. This was completely fine on 18.x.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Basically this. I was wondering if there are any good books centering on paleolithic peoples, particularly ones which treat their characters like actual people rather than “cavemen”
