so my setup is a bit of a mix of technologies , but it worked perfectly for M1 MBP. it was a Thunderbolt Display (27") which requires a dock that accepts the TB cable and outputs via USB to the mac. I have a nice OWC 14-port dock.

just got a new M4 mini, and plugged the power + video/audio USB C cable into the USB C port that has the "lightning" icon above it. But the TB display isn't connecting ....

Anyone have something similar happen? Ideas how to solve? thanks

Colds can spike HRV , and if you don’t get a temp rise, then whoop tends to think you’re having a great recovery

Of course you can feel you’re not well, but do you try and tell your Whoop that it’s “wrong” that day so it learns for the future ?

I wish the ssd was a bit bigger but I think it’s a trade off I’m willing to make

I have a carbon seatpost so some dampening there, and the new tires would probably be more supple than my old ones, but 0.5" down gives up a lot of volume being used as a suspension/cushion on uneven roads, which definitely are present

Yet the Democratic Party is clearly in desperate need of candidates representing a more economic populist policy approach. And all this while on the Brian Lehrer show, luckily a caller called him out .

I then listened to the interview David had with Graham (which he referenced on air) to see what the fuss was about, and I found Grahams responses to David interview questions very convincing

with RAM prices expected to go up is this the way to go in 2026? not quite the Costco deal but seems decent

in Europe so prices are a bit higher on mac stuff.

I’ve got an electric mini Velo that I’m trying to make feel a bit lighter and sportier . Obviously it will always be a chunky bike as it’s aluminum and an e-bike, but tires are one of the best ways to improve ride feel. Currently I have Schwalbe Big Ben Plus in the front and Schwalbe Pick Up in the back. Both 2.15” wide

Eyeing a pair of 20” Panaracer tires … something like Panaracer BMX HP406 20´´ x 1.75 rigid urban tyre

Trying out a Brooks b17 ( the S model for women, with the short nose)

But getting uncomfortable pressure on the vaginal area . Anyone else ? What’s you do to adjust the seat (forward / backward / up / down )

I currently have a MBP m1 14” 16gb 1TB. It’s been great as a laptop and half the time I have it plugged into a dock with a 27” Thunderbolt Display.

I’m thinking about upgrading soon to a more future proofed solution , since my 1TB is getting full , the laptop sometimes runs hot , and for GeForce NOW gaming the performance is sometimes insufficient

The Mac mini presents a nice option because I can plug it into my nice display and get a higher end Mac mini model than I could afford in a MBP. like M2 Pro or similar , then get a 2TB SSD and have an amazing desktop setup which is where I do 90-95% of task heavy stuff

In laptop mode I mostly do YouTube , movies and web browsing , which a MBP is total overkill for . But I’m not willing to drop down to a tablet for on the go. Leaving me thinking of getting an Air or a Neo. And then using iCloud to sync anything I’d REALLY want on both devices

Anyone else done a similar switch? Thoughts / experiences ? Suggestions ? Thanks a lot

For mostly file storage , and will use the 500gb internal storage in the Mac mini for read / write then put all other files (photos, music, movies ) on a 1TB SSD

However I’d like to use a SSD instead of a cheap hard drive in case down the road I need more than the 500Gb internal storage for applications
