Olive lover here, first time seeing these offerings from Spain. So far I have demolished the Blue Cheese stuffed (perfect) I'm on the pickles and olives cocktail now, sharing a picture of what those look like. At $18.99 they're just about $3/ each. Would make great hostess gifts, or add nicely to your charcuterie board. I find Spanish olives to be the best anywhere, that's my opinion anyway.
My 2 teenagers and I have each had strange experiences these last 2 days in our 1976 built home out in the countryside. I love it when people give rational explanations for scary experiences, hoping for some! Please tell me there's no such thing as ghosts.
So 2 nights ago my daughter woke up to the sound of her baseboard heater heating up, it was doing the "tick tick" thing and since it's summer and hasn't been on for months, she also woke up to the smell of burning dust. She got out of bed at 2 AM to find the dial of the heater on the wall turned up to medium. No one in the house touched the dial, we were asleep. She turned it down and asked about it in the morning.
Last night I sat down on my comfy sofa in the sunken living room to read. The tv turned itself on. I didn't even flinch because this happens all the time. It also turns itself off all the time. It's a new Hisense tv from Costco, purchased in March. Happened too many times now. I reached beside me and got the remote and turned it off. Picked up my book, 5 minutes later, the lamp I was using crashed to the floor. It was just sitting on a side table beside me, nothing was touching it or the table. It fell on its own. Decided to leave the room. Went to bed. 2 AM my son comes into my bedroom with his bowl of ramen, looking over his shoulder. My son is a total non believer in all things paranormal, he is 16, a very tall athlete. He was sitting at the table eating ramen at 2 AM and something grabbed the chain on his neck. He was shirtless and thought it was a bug so immediately slapped at the back of his neck. Then something pulled at his chain and he saw it moving. He woke me up to tell me this, looking over his shoulder, too scared to go turn the light off. In the room where he was, I am honouring many ancestors. My father passed a few years ago and I have lost several aunts I was very close to. I have old photographs up all over my home and many antiques and heirlooms, I am so curious about what we experienced, thank you very much for reading. We would love to understand. Does anyone else have a Hisense tv turning itself off and on?
This last episode had me so sad for Pedroso I had an actual lump in my throat, but I also laughed out loud for about 5 minutes.
Hello again, I am following up on my post from last week about downtown drink spiking, posting the blood and urine test results done for me at Royal Jubilee Hospital.
I requested that my blood and urine be tested for GHB several times during my 7 hour stay in the ER waiting room. I provided 3 urine samples, each time repeating the request that a GHB specific test be done on the urine. I am certain that GHB was in this mixture, because I have been dosed with GHB twice in my past, (involuntarily as is always the case with this drug.) It is like no other drug, it is immediately recognizable once you have experienced it. When the effects hit me this time, along with the profound confusion, I recognized the familiar onset of an overwhelming emotional response that I had experienced before. I was asking the ambulance guys for hugs. I told the doctor I loved him.
You will see from the shared test results that no test for the presence of GHB was ever done on any of my samples. I did ask the doctor about this and I did not receive an answer. When he returned to inform me that my blood alcohol was zero, we discussed what other drugs these types of criminals might be using to incapacitate victims. He went back and tested my sample again for sedatives, and as shown, none were found. Just the THC was found, I was gummied for the event, that was me.
I'm interested in starting a discussion about toxicology testing after suspected drink-spiking incidents. I'm curious about people's experiences with accessing testing, what substances are routinely screened for, and whether there are gaps in the current system.
Do Victoria's hospitals have access to forensic GHB testing, and if not, what specific barriers prevent testing suspected victims within the detection window?
I will follow up this post with a timeline of consumption, along with better details of the events that took place. This post just contains test results. I filed a report with Vic PD. The officer who took the case was just about to go on 4 days leave. I was able to tell him that the event was live streamed and that management said they would be going over the video. He said he would check in with them in 5 days.

Hello, a friend and I were recently drugged at a downtown nightclub. We became violently and extremely painfully ill. I was able to get testing done at the hospital. My blood alcohol was zero. No idea what drug I was given but it made my heart race and unbearable stomach pain, got relief after 6 hours in the ER where everyone thought I was a drunk having withdrawals. Absolute loss of all dignity.
This has got to end. I have been wanting to take on this fight for years. A young woman is dead from this very thing in Victoria and her family has no justice.
