Don’t level up the other categories.

If you want to get a really high number of LH sprites from chests, max out only the sprite category and leave the others alone, at least for now. Equip a loot hacker that you already have, and a lot of chests will drop sprites.

I played one match like this and found 5 new ones.

Edit: Since everyone is saying “it still works even if you max them all out,” yes, of course it still works. You’ll simply have a lower chance of getting a sprite when you max everything out, because it can be replaced by another item.

I’ll never be on Jim’s side on this.

I’ve rolled my eyes at Pam’s behavior many times throughout the series, but here, I’m sorry, I just can’t empathize with Jim.

Pam is at home alone with two small children, and we all know how demanding that is, to put it mildly. Despite that, she continues going to work and being present in her children’s lives. She’s doing everything she can to make things easier for her husband so that he can be free from those worries and focus solely on his work in Philadelphia. She even avoids telling him how difficult things are and what problems she’s dealing with, precisely because she doesn’t want to affect his mood while he’s there.

I’ll even leave aside the fact that Jim didn’t tell her his job wasn’t as stressful as she thought it was, because I can somewhat understand that and let it slide.

The fact remains that Pam was extremely stressed, exhausted, and overwhelmed, while Jim was basically just making the effort to stay away from his family for a while. There was nothing particularly stressful about his job.

So, when you have a thousand things on your mind because you’re keeping them all away from your husband, and you finally get some good news, of course you’re going to be excited to get that phone call. And a dance recital isn’t that important. There will be plenty of others, Jim.

Just make sure you don’t treat your wife as though she took away your most important father-daughter moment, when she’s doing everything she can for you and your daughter without making you feel guilty about it.

Come dite? No, no troppo impegnativo.

Is there a lesser known, not so absurd scene that made you laugh really hard?

I love this moment from the episode where Pam is taken to the hospital to give birth. Dwight is driving in front of Michael, suddenly stops the car, and says:
— Michael, this is where I saw that deer last week.
— Where?
— Right over by that fence.
— By the bushes?

I don’t know why, but these completely nonsensical moments absolutely kill me. I was rewatching the episode and had to pause it because I literally couldn’t stop laughing.

Do you guys actually like the new sprites?

They’re terrible to me. Why are they all so square? They look like prototypes.

The fact that GTA 6 has so much hype makes it more likely that a lot of people will end up disappointed.

Don’t get me wrong, it could still be the best game ever made.
The problem with building this much hype around something is that it’s hard not to disappoint someone’s expectations.

It’s usually better to keep your expectations low, because even the smallest improvement can end up surprising you.

GTA 6 is the exact opposite. Any little thing people don’t like, no matter how minor, will end up disappointing someone’s expectations.

[Stardew Valley] #6

I finally platinumed Stardew Valley (1,7%)
My sixth Platinum trophy.
After 265 hours of gameplay.

Actually, a lot more than that because of Fector’s Challenge, the minigame in the town’s Saloon. To earn the platinum, you have to beat it without dying. I must have reloaded the same day at least 50 times on the second-to-last level alone.

What’s even crazier is that the latest update lets you save between levels. Huge respect to everyone who managed to do it in a single deathless run before that. I nearly lost my mind even with the new save feature.

My perfect farm.

This is my first farm and I finally reached perfection.

I discovered Stardew Valley because it was one of the monthly free games included with my PlayStation subscription. I downloaded it because it looked simple and relaxing, basically the kind of game you play when you have nothing else to do.

I never expected to be so wrong. I discovered that it was an incredibly vast game, carefully crafted down to the smallest details and I had an amazing time playing it (although I have to admit that sometimes it was anything but relaxing).

It really pulled me in. Sometimes I stopped playing because I felt overwhelmed by all the things there were to do, but I always came back because I wanted to finish it.

A few days ago, I reached perfection on my birthday without even planning it that way.
This game will always have a special place in my heart and I also love its fan base and this subreddit.
But I still have a lot to do before I can platinum it, so this isn’t the end yet.

Bonus: the inside of my slime hutch. I hope you like it.

I reached perfection in the worst way possible.

I only reached perfection yesterday and I reached it in the messiest way possible.

I have piles of completely useless stuff, but I’m still constantly running out of basic materials like stone and wood.
I’m still farming wood in Cindersap Forest because I only have around 200 stored away, and I want to keep upgrading Robin’s community projects.
I also farmed the last hundred or so iron bars I was missing just to craft the few recipes I hadn’t made yet.

I barely have any supplies stockpiled. No vegetables, no fruit, no flowers… but I do have tons of seeds for every crop. I always preferred keeping seeds since they stack better, so if I ever needed something, I could just grow it.
I only keep one of each fish for the collection. I sold all the rest, not because I need the money (I really don’t), but because I just hate hoarding them.
I also have very few animal products. No cheese, no caviar, no wine, nothing. My mindset has always been to sell everything my farm produces and keep only the things it doesn’t produce.
Although, to be honest, I haven’t kept much of those either.

I genuinely wish I had stacks of 999 iridium-quality [insert any item here] tucked away somewhere like the really serious players.

On top of that, my farm is built entirely around aesthetics rather than efficiency. I have a small, cute area for ancient fruit, and I grow the rest on Ginger Island. All my income comes from those and the wine I make from them. I earn about 1 million a week, which honestly feels low, but I just can’t bring myself to tear down the beautiful maze leading to grandpa’s shrine, even though it’s completely useless.

So yeah… I’m a disaster, ahah.
Anyone else play like this?

I hate travelling.

Whenever someone talks about taking a “relaxing trip,” it sounds like an oxymoron to me. From every perspective, traveling is incredibly stressful. The journey itself, whether by plane, train, or any other form of transportation, is a nightmare to me. Then there’s staying in a hotel instead of your own home and visiting places that are packed with tourists. I genuinely can’t understand how people find any of that enjoyable.

I’d much rather spend my money renting a house near the beach, close to where I live, in a quiet seaside area where I can spend every day relaxing by the sea and every evening doing something different with friends.

No one is ever going to convince me that traveling is better than this.

That said, I have traveled, and I still want to see new places. It’s just that all of this makes it really hard for me to enjoy the idea.

Whenever I say this to people, they look at me like I’m completely crazy, as if this were the least relatable opinion in the world.

And before anyone says it: no, I’m not neurodivergent.

Edit: I live in a seaside area, so going to the beach is not considered traveling for me. But everyone I know still prefers to go somewhere else and travel rather than stay in their own peaceful and relaxing seaside area.

So please stop saying things like “what if you don’t live near the sea?” or “going to the beach is also traveling.”

The answer to the first one is that, obviously, I do live near the sea, so that doesn’t apply to me
