I was curious what the experts think because I got into an argument on the car track sub Reddit that said that a 550 wheel horsepower pure 800 supra would not go past 170 miles on a closed airport runway. seems like that’s not true considering people are hitting that on the autobahn with just a downpipe?
I see a lot of YouTube videos of guys at what I assume would be an airport or a large empty runway doing top speed runs. is there anywhere in the NJ/NY/PA area where i can attend these events?

with that tire set up, I'm either looking at having to downsize to 275 or step up to 305. What tire brands do y'all recommend at 285?
multiple drift days and a HPDE coming soon in the next 2 months. any questions regarding the 6mt platform?
so i have just a downpipe manual supra. so in the street racing scene not the fastest by even a large margin. however, i always have big turbo bmws, boosted 5.0s, z06s trying to race me. and the worst part? they lie about their mods. just last night a 240 asked to race, and said he was stock. i proceed to go over to his car and see a precision turbo and intake manifold and a drag pack on.
it’s been more odd that i have a friend with a 900whp big turbo mkv supra, and nobody ever challenges him to races. like why bro?
