buy a low priced vehicle or lease(no credit ) ?

I didnt activate my first credit card yet and I still have no credit so I might not even get approved. The fastest I can get a car is in August and only for 5k and ill add a ppi. If i was able to get a lease I only considered that as its faster than waiting in August to save up for the 5 k .

My work commute will be 20 minutes or less both ways .

Note: i posted more or less the same in what car should I group. Just looking for different perspectives

my options are lease or buy used for 5k. Advice needed

So i have been carless for several weeks as the repairs were not worth it to fix . The amount I can spend on a car asap would be 5 k in August sometime. I actually just received my first credit card yesterday , but havent activated it yet .

So yeah my options are maybe a lease if a dealer accepts my no credit situation or a low priced car .

If I can lease - should I do that and then when the lease is up return it and buy my own car ? By then I will have more money saved. Thanks

Ladies , what work commute brand do you recommend that has a comfortable seat?

I would be commuting anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to work depending on factors . I have been carless for a while and was wondering about investing into a bike until I save up for a 5k car. I also would use it for leisure. My concerns are hooha comfort, riding in this suck ass heat(new jersey) , and rain. Thanks !

Finally got my hands on this after reading recommendations for it

also had to buy this sweet bottle bag (which i will use as a regular tote ) as i like medua and mythology .

I keep circling back to Jennifer hiller book recommendations too , but I feel like she gets mixed reviews and ive been only buying books i am sure i will want to add to my library permanently

opened my first cc at 38. How long would it take until I am considered for an apartment or car lease ?

Basically i have been scared of opening one , but i got myself into a pickle where my last cars repairs werent worth it to fix it, so ive been talked into opening a cc to lease a car . I opened one at my bank (santander )

I am pretty sure i will buy a used car for cash instead , but i do like the idea of having my own apartment one day . If I pay off $20 a month on the cc , how long would it take for me to be considered for either ? Thanks !

anyone looking for a house mate ? ( old bridge, woman preferred )

Happy Thursday everyone. So in addition to posting on other platforms , I might as well try here too . My budget would be under 800 if anyone is looking or knows friends in the old bridge area. Thanks !

saving up for a used car - and i could really use advice from a car expert of all models !

I need to get a car by mid July

Hopefully by then I will have atleast 4 k saved up. maybe a bit more. I have been looking on fb marketplace but i am a bit overwhelmed.

-located in new jersey

- question: i have a family friend mechanic in Florida that travels back and fourth to nj. Is it better to buy a car there and he can drive it down in a trailer?

- only had sedans so far

- my next dream car would have :

foldable back seats and a sun roof for road trips & sleeping in if i had to . i have been wanting to start doing them for awhile .

- able to still drive well as the mileage increases

-good mpg of course

- c.d player

- non leather seats

Preferred , but I can always cover them if there is no other options.

Would love any advice or possibly links sent my way if anyone wants to help me out with the process and we can work out a commission or something .

Should I repair or sell my 2012 dodge avenger ?

Sxt plus 3.6 flex fuel sedan . 123k miles . She has Transmission issues (rattling for one ) .

The estimate i was given to fix it was 3k or alittle over. I am not looking to lease a car. So far the places that buy your car on the spot have offered me $300.

I was hoping to get atleast $1500 if i can sell it in marketplace but I dont know about that now if I havent even been offered 1k for it. . By the end of June or mid July I'll be able to repair it.

Do you guys think its worth it if I repair it that know more about dodge cars ?

2012 dodge avenger sedan sxt plus automatic 6 speed front wheel drive v.6 3.6 liter engine flex fuel. 123k miles

Family friend mechanic says even if he fixes it its just a matter of time before the other side of the engine goes

2012 sxt plus dodge avenger 123 k miles

Makes rattling noise upon acceleration.

Is this price fair for a new fuel pump?

I was originally quoted $1'036 on my 2012 dodge avenger that has 229k miles with automatic transmission. The gas gause is not working which is why I took it in .

The wrong part was delivered today and the right one wont come until tomorrow and where i took the car ( american tire and auto in new jersey ) said they will give me a discount for the longer wait time so having to wait an extra day will actually be helpful to me ha . Was the original quote too much with labor ? Thanks
