I first became a fan of SAO wayyy back in 2014... for me, SAO was for a lack of words "the shit" It was my first anime, and I genuinely loved the concept of being trapped in a MMORPG game because I myself was a gamer. Once I realized the anime was only inside of the actual game for the first half of the first season, I was quite disappointed. Even then, I continued to watch the anime still enjoying it because I made quite a strong connection to its characters. After I continued on to GGO it was great! But... nothing really ever hit the same as the first half of season 1 did. I remember rewatching that first half of season 1 religiously and I always wanted more because well it was never enough.

Fast forward a couple years I learned the author (Reki Kawahara) made a separate series solely to fill in the gaps that SAO originally had left out. I remember being filled with sooo much excitement that I saved up money just to buy all the available Progressive ln's at that time. I loved it and I still do love it to this day. SAO Progressive, for me, is the best thing that could ever happen to SAO itself.

Who else shares this same kind of love for Progressive?

Does this happen to anyone else? Happens to me when I am just searching around using the search bar up-top. So annoying. It doesn't do it all the time.

I am upgrading and I would like to know. I want to stick with ddr4.

Hello! I recently decided to sell my used ASUS Tuf f17 gaming laptop that was released in 2021. The specs are as follows:

Rtx 3050 ti 4gb

Intel i5-11260h

32gb ram

500gb nvme

It can surprisingly run a game like Hogwarts Legacy with little to no stuttering in high settings at a stable 70-80fps, fortnite in performance mode at 180-200fps (not much of a surprise but yea). Runs battlefield 2042 in a 128 player battle at 75-110 fps on medium.. Temps staying in 70s to low 80s in most games. 40c to 49c on idle. The laptop has no visible scratches on the surface, screen, or elsewhere and is actually in great shape. The only defects the system suffers is a missing delete key with a torn off rubber dome.. wasd keys sometimes double or triple type or not register while typing unless you press down on the center of those keys, this issue is NOT noticeable while gaming.. every other key functions perfectly.

I want to be reasonable and I don't want to put it up for an insanely unreasonable price.. so I came here seeking advice on what I SHOULD list it up for. Thank you!

As you can see from the title I am switching from my z390+i9-9900k setup to a gigabyte b760m gaming plus+i5-14600kf setup.. my goal is to re-use as much components as possible (most notably my gskil 3200mhz ddr4 ram which should be no problem..) but one question I do have is.. will my old arctic liquid freezer 3 pro AIO work along with this transition as far as mounting goes? Thanks!

If you enjoy the visuals of hardware RT but don't enjoy the performance hit.. use software RT instead and then turn down the game brightness to -2. This makes the lighting quite nice and gives that hardware RT lighting effect.

I have noticed that over the past few days I have been getting a message saying "you've been blocked by network security" but it's immediately solved after I refresh reddit. What gives?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out what could be causing a strange RGB issue with my PC.

When I powered on my PC like normal, the RGB on my front 3 case fans did not turn on. The fans themselves still worked, but the RGB was completely off. I tried pressing the LED/RGB button on the top of my case, but nothing happened.

I then restarted the PC, and suddenly everything worked normally again.. but this only solved the issue a few times and eventually, didn't work at all.

After noticing this happen a few times, I found something strange: if the RGB does not come on, I can shut the PC down, go to the back, and firmly push the main power cable further into the PSU. Even though the cable feels like it is already fully seated, applying pressure seems to make the connection better. After doing this, I power the PC back on and the RGB works perfectly.

Because of this, I’m starting to suspect the issue may not be my ARGB fan hub/controller like I originally thought. It seems like the PSU may briefly not be providing proper standby power or something related to the connection.

For context, my PSU is extremely old.. a Corsair Professional Series HX1000W from around 2008 (18 years old). It has been working fine otherwise, but I’m wondering if an aging PSU could cause this.

Does this sound like a PSU issue, a bad power cable/connection, or could the ARGB hub still be the culprit? Has anyone seen RGB issues caused by a PSU connection before?

(FYI I did unplug and replug all of the connections on the RGB hub for my front fans, even unplugged the SATA and replugged that as well.. didn't help anything).

I am planning to retire my old i9-9900k.. my question is, what would be the BEST CPU to upgrade to that will support ddr4? I was thinking of switching to a b760m mobo and pairing it with an i5-14600kf.. is this the right move to make?

(I would like to mention my GPU as I am sure that is important! It's the 4060 ti 16gb.)

This game was honestly so fun to play as a youngster back in the day.. I am aware there is a revived version that you can still play today with other people, but I really just miss the OG version of the game. What were your thoughts on it?

Hello! I recently used disk drill and didn't realize I had to pay until AFTER the scan.. thing is, I found the folder I wanted to recover it's just hidden behind a paywall. Is there anything I can use that is completely free? (The folder was roughly 5gb.. to clarify I was freeing up space on my PC when I deleted it and before I realized I deleted it I had already cleared recycle bin.. I have an SSD.)

I recently purchased Avowed on steam and I'm LOVING IT! After about 4 days I have 26 hours of play time because I just can't put it down. This is my first time ever jumping into the world of Eora.. meaning I never played Pillars of Eternity. Avowed alone has made me overlook my dislike towards the top down style Pillars of Eternity has because I just love Eora so much. As soon as I finish this game, I will then venture into Pillars of Eternity.

Honestly, Obsidian did a GREAT job with this game! I do wish there were more skill customization for both the character and the companions.. but this game is really laid back and easy to understand and sometimes, after work, that is just what someone needs. I also wish there were more importance to the armor categories in this game, more of an abundance of crafting materials would've been cool as well.

Overall.. I'd say this game is a solid 7.5/10. If you are scrolling through this subreddit, wondering if you should purchase this game or not, I'd say do so! The beginning is a little bit of a hassle but once you are past that.. it gets real fun real fast.

(Random but if you want to fix the blurriness this game has I recommend turning on dlss and using dlaa in the game settings and then going into the Nvidia app and setting dlaa to 100% !!! the clarity is awesome now.)

Hello! Does anyone else have the problem with the wifi suddenly dropping and giving the "no internet" status forcing you to reconnect manually? I have been noticing this on my s20 and all of my other devices stay connected during this time so I am confused.

Hello! I am replacing my old Professional Series Corsair HX1000W Modular Power Supply. It has lasted me several years without a problem and it has genuinely been fantastic to use. Just 2 days ago I had a random kernel power 41 error which forced my PC into a reboot.. since then, I have been running benchmarks and literally everything is perfect. There is no reasons to suspect any component other than my PSU as it is several years old now. I have been browsing amazon and have ultimately landed on the rm750e as a replacement PSU.

My question: Will the rm750e be enough for my current setup?

Yesterday my PC randomly restarted for the first time. No BSOD, just a Kernel-Power 41 in Event Viewer with a bugcheck code of 0.

What was weird is that the RGB on my GPU, RAM, and AIO stayed on and the fans never stopped spinning. The PC just restarted itself.

Since then I've been trying to figure out what happened. I checked my SSD health with Hard Disk Sentinel and it says everything is excellent. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and it found no errors. I also ran SFC and it found some corrupted files and repaired them.

For stress testing, I ran Cinebench and my 9900K maxed out around 75C and completed without any issues. I also ran Unigine Valley on Extreme HD and my GPU stayed around 55C with no artifacts, crashes, or shutdowns.

I checked my voltages in HWMonitor and everything looks normal (+12V is around 12.19V, +5V is 5.04V, etc.).

One thing I did find is that I have a few corrected WHEA errors in Event Viewer going back a few months. Most are Event 19 "Internal parity error" reported by Processor Core. The thing is, the most recent WHEA events happened about 4-5 hours before the Kernel-Power event, not right before it. These WHEA events are infrequent and do not happen often.. I only see a few corrected ones every couple of months, not something happening daily or during load.

Another thing that has me wondering is that whenever my home's AC kicks on, the lights in my room briefly flicker for a split second. I'm wondering if a power dip could have caused the restart?

System has been completely stable otherwise and this is the first time it's ever happened.
