Each of the midnight series have gone different forms of horror incorporated into the main story. Spider-Man is body horror and mutations, x men is vampires and religious elements, fantastic is cult and cosmic horror. I think for black panther we can go into African folklore and monster horror.

My pitch would be after a remote village of wakanda was ravaged and were taken prisoners due to the young princes mistake to trust an injured Jabari soldier. Chief tchaka on his death bed asked his disgraced twin children to go back an reclaim thier honor, by going into a dark forest to get the heart of the most dangerous creature in mythical forest riddled with monsters, magical cults and fears made physical demons . To restore thier honor, tchalla and shuri must hunt and get the heart of the black panther.

It would expand African mythology and also have a more magical element to black panther rather than tech .

I know tchalla had recently been exiled and was had to find his new path , even though now he’s king anyone else feel like he’s supposed to be at the forefront of marvel and has just been thrown to the side .

People say his comics don’t sell as much ? I disagree, i think the problem is that whenever a black panther story is done it resonates or synergies almost instantly with the whole of wakanda. Even his exile was a result of wakanda rejecting him. I think now we need to take a step back and discover why black panther should be interesting more than his wakandan side .

I think marvel needs to reinvent tchalla in a way that has nothing to do with wakanda. I’m not saying take him out of wakanda or dethrone him. , no i mean i need an arc where the soul focus is not the state of wakanda but the development of tchalla and the black panther on its own . Have him get a bit older , grow a beard, give him an arc where he has to rely on his instincts and senses rather than its vibranium and heritage, be it take him out of wakanda…. Or take out wakanda. At least just for a brief while. Also my hot take, get him and storm back together, like what are we doing.

Also black panther needs a much better rogue’s gallery, half of them are dead or not important.

That said , I want my glob Herman and eye boy trilogy or I’m burning this place to the ground 😡

This seems like one of those characters that are important but marvel have just completely forgotten. Or don’t know what to do with.

When Kate bishop was introduced in young avengers, she became the most popular popular next gen hero after miles , even tho now she’s a bit older , it does seem that marvel has kind of done nothing with her character and that she’s just a background event character all of a sudden.

I think maybe her still bearing the name of Hawkeye might not be great so i think in comics, she needs to become ronnin. I mean look at her in the show. And actually keep that mantle for a while, on a second note . We need a new iteration of the young avengers team. Not exactly as the young avengers but a different name. Just a thought

I know blade is more mercenary and less detective but unless it’s Jessica jones or even Howard the duck , i think this can be a great series to further the supernatural story.

Imagine a show that deals with the blade hunting down a string of supernatural related murders to get the one vampire that ruined his life , while Elsa is just starting her career as a hunter and thier paths cross. They get dragged into a rabbit hole of monster related cults , human body parts black markets and also aspects of their paths that could lead to something more sinister.

It might not be the movie we wanted but an R rated blade series would slap just as hard . It just needs to be R rated

Movie 1 : x men , villains : Mr sinister, hellfire club maurauders

Series 1: X force

Movie 2 : Xtinction villains: danger, bastion , trasks sentinels.

Series 2 : weapon x ( wolverine prequel series)

Movie 3 : House of X : apocalypse, brotherhood of mutants ( they turned on magneto and worship apocalypse) krakoa reveal at the end.

First trilogy and 2 shows.. can be done in 5 years.

When I see Mr sinister for I was see the OG mad scientist, like every single idea of a mad scientist has been derived from him but also in some ways I see him as a more serious skeletor. I think for this performance they need to go in just how casual he makes the most insane things look. Also I need a lot of body horror from him

I always loved the idea of the final battle of an x men movie taking place is a more grotesque form of a haunted house that sinster created . The absolute duality of his cloning , like even just making his clones argue with himself would be dope , before Gunn did it , the whole vibe of the high evolutionary but dialed to 14 while his demeanor is more carefree , I can genuinely see him being top 5 mcu villains and Adam driver for me due not to his movie background but his SNL work is what has sold me on this.

I really hope sinister isn’t a one off and that he gets so much more to do even tho he’s not exactly the main villain

Looking at this list , almost every single character is a part of team , be it the avengers or x men . While the x men are very important and tend to give these characters a lot exposure and a lot of justice , it is a bit sad that they often don’t go through thier own solo runs , compare it to Wonder Woman who exists in the league and also on her own. I think marvel has already identified the solution. Magik

Illyana has just recently become a household name due to marvel rivals and Anya Taylor joys portrayal. If marvel play thier cards right , she could become top 5 if not top 3 female characters in marvel in general. Her genre is already so marketable and her story leaves a lot of room for growth. I think illyana. Might get the Harley Quinn treatment where she’s just put in a bunch of things becoming wayy more popular.

Also it’s a goth baddie half mutant half demon with a big sword. Like … come on .

Something that I always wanted to figure out is how exactly Jean and Sarah got out of the foster system, and how the DODC were able to track them early .

I wonder if Xavier was going after Sarah to recruit her but she turned them down, and then after seeing what Jean did and learning that she’s wanted , maybe he’s going to send cyclops, angel and Bobby to try and recruit her, while Emma tries to recruit her at the same time.

The x men has a lot of villains but not all of them are going to be main villains, mcu movies have maybe a beginning side villains who could then make a small appearance then they have the main villains or group or whatever.

I think with the x men we can introduce more villains that could mainly appear at any moment to add the extra feel of terror it might have to be a mutant, like how in the walking dead zombies are always lingering but they have different threats for that season.

1 idea I like is with the shadow king , have him be this entity that only exists in the telepathic realm, and can attach its to any telepath if they have an out of body experience for too long. Would be a great way to nerf telepaths but also introduce a great villain without it being the main villain.

2. Another would be sentinels , one thing that makes them more dangerous is how spontaneous they can be , they are about 20 feet tall yet you never see them coming , if the movie doesn’t have mastermold as the main villain these are ways to inflict fear into mutants

3. The friends of humanity is another choice

As much as i want the x men to succeed without wolverine, which they will , i still think this is a must do to bring in bank.

Wolverine is the 3rd most famous character and you can put him in almost any period piece and tell a Goated story, WW2, japan, the woods anywhere.

Tbf outside of Logan the last wolverine trilogy sucked. I think having Wolverine be absent from the first 2 x men movies and have his movies take place in different periods of time is a Gold mine waiting to be tapped. It doesn’t have to be taron but it’s a good shout

As the X men draws nearer, the idea of how magneto’s origin is supposed to work . Some have good theories some bs, saying he should come from another universe or his parents should be the ones who suffer it is completely unnecessary. In my opinion here’s how you do this and yes the holocaust should be the origin but with a twist .

In the actual holocaust it’s reported that some Jews were used for experimentations that were never made to see the light of day. So picture this , a young Jewish prisoner suddenly gets the ability to bend metal. The Germans begin experimenting. And they can’t solve it . So they call in someone who does have experience. A disgraced scientist. Nathaniel Essex , by this time Essex has already discovered apocalypse tomb and apocalypse has ordered him to find the perfect vessel for him , so he sees potential in young Magnus/ Erik , begins to experiment and injects him with cytorak crystals and remains, making him a possible host that will stay alive till apocalypse return. But the experiments boost Erik , gives him white hair, and makes his power fro tenfold for as long as he lives .

And Mr sinister erases these memories making him a sleeper host for apocalypse, but immortal as well, the memories are fractured so Erik spends his days trying to do good and fix his memories , up until the late 90s when he meets a young British scholar who just happened to specialize in memories.

There that’s my solution

Marvel has always had a way to re invent even the most basic powers , making namor look like he’s skiing in the air , Thor mixture of range and close combat with calling mjlonir. Shang chi martial arts look so different from regular fighting.

I think for storm to keep her truly seperate from her other iterations , i think her elemental powers should be reflected in her body movements, they could make it like a dance or something like what avatar does .

Not only would it slap aesthetically but it could be a way to develop her character as like maybe in the first x men movie she’s powerful but not omega level yet and she mostly uses her powers for improvised melee but as she grows overcoming her claustrophobia. Her power and movements expand into a larger scale.

Kind of out there but Jake said his x men movie would do things that haven’t been done , if sinister has existed for so long, i feel his obsession with mutants would need like a catalyst to work with. I remember in brand new day they were already remnants of disfigured human body parts. They kind of looked like they had been morphed genetically.

I think with the effect of the incursions , the brood crossed over to 616 and Nathaniel Essex found that thier DNA was very malleable, like clay , he started using them and gene splicing with mutants he already caught to make the perfect mutant creation to speed along the evolutionary process, probably kidnapped a bunch of kids too from cyclops orphanage.

The brood haven’t been done before and sinister does love experiments , what do you think.

I mean.., not really but … come on… it’s a guy with wings, he’s definitely biting the dust first
