They never shut up about the 13 killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal. How come the Republicans aren't screaming about the 13 service members killed after trump ordered the attack on Iran?

Sadly, none of this needed to happen imo. If our leadership was more focused on peace the world would be a better place.

How can any nation truly prosper when it's constantly at war?

As an old US Veteran, I'm disgusted by our leadership, especially since 9/11. We have caused so much death and destruction for no reason. Just imagine if we had avoided war since WWII. Think about how much good our tax dollars could have done for our citizens while helping others around the world. Imagine providing a bright future for our children instead of a world where hatred, killing and never-ending wars are SOP. We can make the whole world a better place while helping ourselves & others in need.

Nonstop war and empire building did not save Rome. Why can't our leadership realize that peace IS patriotic?
