I’ve listened to a couple episodes of the Iblis Manifeststions podcast and I’ve gotta ask — what the hell is this guys deal?

He seems awfully high on himself, is incredibly self contradictory and sometimes he lacks incredibly basic knowledge of the genre he claims to be so passionate about. Do people actually dig this idiot?

Skold is an incredible guitar player and has contributed some great playing to Manson albums…so why does he play bass live?

Also, I know it’s a bit early but does anyone know if Skold will be involved with writing on the next Manson album? I surely hope so. He’s had a band in writing some of Manson’s best material

Why does Bill drag around that unfunny schlub Dean Delray? He’s not funny and kinda seems borderline braindead. Dude seems like a living, breathing real life Beavis and Butthead character

Bill needs better openers

With AMOLAD finally starting to get its due amongst fans, critics (and band members?), what are the chances that we finally see a live album from that tour?

Maybe as a bonus disc on a reissue or something? Only having FTGOG as an official live version is rough

What is up with people posting photos of their CDs like they’re some sort of great antiquity? Promos, oddities, imports etc I understand but ya’ll are making posts with the regular ass version of 10,000 Days and being all like “OMG GUYS I FINALLY FOUND IT”

Are ya’ll teenagers or something? Did you just discover compact discs last week?

How do we get Blackie to fire Brandvold? The WASP brand would be so much better with someone else at the helm

Wasp’s presentation, marketing, social media, merch etc is all so bad. It’s embarrassing. I’ve seen people make the excuse “well of course it is, Blackie is an out of touch boomer”.

Yeah? Well so are Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Iommi etc and none of them have the problems that WASP does. I’m pretty sure it comes down to that Brandvold clown. The dude has gotta go

It is well known that Jason has everyone involved with him sign an NDA. Many artists at his level don’t do such a thing

Jimbo has mentioned signing one. Amanda has signed one. Why is camp Jason like this? Is it a Jason thing or a Traci (his manager) thing?

I love every record but feel Mike lost some songwriting magic after Ghost Reveries. A lot of cool parts (and occasional songs) since but everything feels substantially more disjointed and less “song” these past almost 20 years. Growls or not

Anyone else agree? What happened?

Why does Weird Al still associate with Amanda Palmer?

She’s got a history of awful behavior recently made exponentially worse by essentially playing the role of Ghislaine Maxwell in Neil Gaiman’s horrific crimes.

Edit for context — At the show in Boston the other night she was front and center on the screen (back stage during Al’s walk on to Tacky), threw a pie in Puddles’ face and of course proceeded to brag alllllllll about it on her IG. It was all quite nauseating and I was bummed to see that she still gets special treatment from camp AL

Deliverance needs to go or at least get out of the last slot. Hell — even Iron Maiden and Judas Priest change their closers from tour to tour

Personally I’d vote for it to retire altogether for a while. If Bruce Springsteen can go out and NOT play Born in the USA or Thunder Road every night, Opeth can go out and not play Deliverance every night

Been a Dev fan since City. Terria is his best work

Recently went chronologically, album by album and have come to the conclusion that Terria is his best work by a substantial margin. Does anyone else agree?

At what point did black metal culture become so imbrued with fitness influencer culture?

It seems to be such a thing these days. Certainly wasn’t the case 10 or 20 years back. Weird.

Does Maynard still have his crew members give out sex passes to women in the audience?

He used to have his team scour the crowd for the most attractive ladies. They would then give the ladies sex passes for backstage after the show. They would all line up, present themselves to the Nard and he would take his pick for the night. Does this still happen?

The things we’ve done — Caligula would grin

We got any Mountain Goats fans here?

I feel like there’s crossover? Just thinking it’s wild that John Darnielle has written ten albums and three novels in the time it has taken for Tomas to not even finish writing ONE album…

What happened after Imaginaerum? I’ve given all the records since a fair shake but it seems like the music went stale. It’s like Tuomas had used up all his ideas and just started ripping himself off?

Was there a major life change for him? Did he get sober? Did he simply get tired of the sound? It sounds like his composition brain (for Nightwish anyway — I love Scrooge and Auri) just kind of threw in the towel. It’s kinda weird…

If John had said all his racist / KKK dick stuff in 2026 instead of 2010, would he have been canceled? Would his career be over?

I’m bringing a giant sign to Asbury that says “SPRINGSTEEN RULES! STREETLIGHT DROOLS! TOM YOU OWE ME $2000”

That is — IF they even play the Asbury show. Will they? It’s probably gonna be canceled right?
