Most of the time, it's not a hitbox issue in Dark Souls 2.

One thing NO ONE KNOWS is that when we dodge while low on stamina (so when we go in negative with our stamina), there is a penalty in iframes (we have less iframes...)

regardless of our ADP level, and I believe this mechanic is unique to Dark Souls 2; I don't think it's the same for DS1 or DS3.

Pay attention to this when you play; so, when you get hit mid-roll, it's not a hitbox "issue", but an iframe "issue".

EDIT: I'M NOT TRYING TO DEFEND DARK SOULS 2 FROM BAD HITBOXES, I'M JUST TELLING U SOMETHING U PROBABLY DON'T KNOW.

I'm playing DD for the first time, and yesterday this happened: my first character died. Was this death predetermined, or was it just bad luck? Did the game kill my character to show me the tutorial on death? This death felt really unfair, and I couldn't do anything about it.

Is this game simply unfair or was this death scripted?

I'm making this post on Reddit because, before I fought this dragon, a friend of mine told me it was the "best dragon bossfight he'd ever had." I beat him on my fifth try, and honestly, I didn't like it at all, so I was a little confused.

What do you think? Is it a good bossfight or is it mediocre?
