Hot take :Second Bull Run Is Lee's most impressive battle/campaign
Sure theres something fundamentally nice about a flanking maneuver in a forest that speaks to everyone .
ut in second bull run Lee had to distance himself from one army spilt up his army [yes i know he did this muiltple times ] send part of beyond his reach [IIRC beyond communiction/supply] and then rush to join it at just the right time to crush the second army without getting pinned by the other [ both union armies outmatching his ] .
His staff work and greater strategy usually not that good [or so people say] were at best in this campaign.

EDIT.I'm sorry, of course I know notarization paperwork is extremely important. I just didn't know what word to use, as 'part-time' doesn't really fit it either.basically I can get the training for cheap or free and i have no illusions about it being a full or even really part time job.
