I am still using mid 2012 15 inch MacBook Air, not that it’s enough for me but I made not smart choices and end up haven’t able to upgrade, if I able to land on more freelance design works, I will get the 15 inch M5 MacBook Air to learn Swift and make apps and games and I hope I can earn a lot from them to continue to pursue my dreams include finding my dream girl, I’m 31 already.

I was planning to get the base 15 inch M5 MacBook Air and but then Apple raised its price and I thought might as well get some upgrade as 1tb will allow me to install a few AAA games like Death Stranding and Resident Evil and PS3 emulations and have more files stores natively, 16GB seem is closing to the limit and 24GB seem the sweet spot, but I do like good number and 32GB 1TB setup do have a nice number, I not sure about future proof as the rest of the system need more power when 32GB become the new sweet spot and I also not plan to use AI and LLM to write my code, I also plan to do some 3D work, photo and video editing if I can land on paid gig or just want to make new videos for my YouTube channel.

What configurations should I get for the 15 inch M5 MacBook Air for my usages?

I want to get the M5 15 MacBook Air to make game and app for iOS and play some games sometime like Death Stranding, Resident Evil Remakes and PS3 emulations, I still use my current MacBook Pro 15 2012, I use it for that 10+ years long not because it’s enough for me but it’s because I didn’t make enough money to upgrade, I hope to make a lot more money after this MBA purchase but I not sure yet, I was decided to get the 16gb 512gb setup before the price rise but now since its already more expensive, why not get it with custom upgrade to use it for longer, but I do know future proof isn’t always work as the rest of the hardware will need upgrade when the custom upgrade you made become a standard, I also try not to use AI but my own code for the development.

That say 16gb seem might be needing quite a bit of swap, 24gb seem logical, I also think to upgrade to 1tb of the internal storage to have 500gb for work and 500gb for games as current AAA games are 100gb each

I have a like for pricing with great number, 1tb 32gb has the number I like, will I rely utilise the 32gb or really save the money and get 24gb? Do I nee that 1tb at all also And not just use external SSD like Crucial X9 series?

why do the ram upgrade price is a lot cheaper than storage? The jump from 512gb to 1tb is bearly 16gb to 32gb instead of 16gb to 24gb, why?

I don’t find much if not at all talk of the dynamic 40-60w charger for MacBook Air purchase, only the release post when it release along with iPhone 17 pro or around that time, is it good? Any battery drop when on heavy load on the 15 inch M5 MacBook Air?

You need to pay more to get the 35w dual ports and 70w and I find it weird how Apple design their custom configuration selection layout now, is like they don’t want you to custom it, all hidden behind another tap bar opening, is this due to the shortage of ram and Storage? They earn more if you don’t customise even changing the charger in the box?

Hi guys, I live in Malaysia, I run in 5-7pm and sometime morning when I can wake up early, I not a sunglasses person but do like to try, I like to see the world in natural true color, my favorite color is yellow, I like the wrap, one lens, minimalist robotic look of sunglasses, prefer it to be completely frameless. The running wrap sunglasses I see often has the center top of the lens slightly taller, why, easier to manufacture it to reuse it for other models that need the gap?

I plan to get the Spy Super Flynn in black frame and Happy Gray Green lens which should looks completely black in real life, it is not the typical wrap but bottom rimless lens integrated side shield, which looks unique, it doesn’t have rubber tip tho and I think that’s nice too as the frame won’t wear out and I can add silicone stick to add grip and replace it when I need to. This one looks like I able to use in everyday situations too.

Another one after I search more is Nike Echo Shield in Yellow Sliver Flash Mirror lens and gold metal frame, it has the yellow color I like but this will make me see things in yellow? How do people ok with wearing sunglasses in colored lens? Will this limit my use and when can I use it to be honest? How about driving at night? This one is about less than half the price of the Spy Super Flynn. There is another color way which the frame is white but the lens is gold, this seem match well with my yellow outfit as gold is yellow, and gold seem doesn’t effect your vision color much but just warmer, the price is slightly more expensive and seem to have more than one stock, this is better choice for me?

I plan to get a frameless wrap shield one as it looks like the robotic one in Terminator 1 tho it’s not one lens design but these sunglasses I mentioned do has their own unique characteristic and won’t make you looks like another runner with generic wrap sunglasses. The Nike one has only one stock left while the Spy one seems to has more than one as there is no mention, I not in big budget now or else I will get both, should I get the Nike one first or just save more and get the Spy one and only use it for everything?

Hi guys, I think for now I won’t get a smartwatch as they are not fully matured enough to really consider a lot essential aspect of your body including your meal to get nearly 100% accuracy and what I’m doing now which is just run and now getting back to use Nike Run Club app to track time, distance and pace seem good enough and I start to use the structured training in the app now too which is the coaching feature make me interested to get a smartwatch but now seem mostly covered, since You won’t be the first in the world by having a bit more accurate and extra data from your smartwatch, the phone seem good enough and just train harder if you want to perform better. I also want to achieve yoga post like scorpion pose and i also want to get thicker thigh and arm muscles, there are no specific to these workout and I can just increase my steps and check online to know the right exercise for theses, I seen the workout track is not helpful but just start a timer in the smartwatch. I also like to take picture when I run, which mean I always carry a phone at my hand, I won’t just wear a watch to run

but I still open to possibility I might not know something it has that will help me, can you guys let me know what am I missing? Garmin seem to have more data but maybe gimmick data that you can just get by feel your own body during running?

i love yellow color and if I want one, that Suunto Run seem match me although it is not exactly the direct yellow I wanted but a greenish yellow or hard to see yellow

Hi everyone, I haven’t own a smartwatch as I have my self motivation to run but I do want to train myself to able to run marathon someday, I also do yoga, squat and other legs and arm exercise without gym and equipment too:

1. Do I really need a tracker at all for all of these socially these workouts parts, what will it improve anything for me that I can’t just keep on what I’m doing now which is increase the step. Counts each next workout and find online what else workout I can do to grow muscle on certain parts of my body?
2. Do I need to wear it throughout the day even when sleep and not exercise to make any of these data actually useful and accurate?
3. Should I just continue to use my phone to track the time, distance and pace? Do iPhone 15 6.1 accurate to track these with the Nike Run Club app?
4. watches I have in mind are Garmin Forerunner 55, Coros Pace 3 to experience the MIP screen out of the typical LCD and AMOLED screen products, Forerunner 70/170, Coros Pace 4 with the lower price yet good enough features but I guess the Garmin buttons layout is better but Coros give you charging sub c adapter instead of a cable to have less volume of things to carry

If I want to spend to get a watch then I want to track my run and have a coach function to help me improve my run instead of have these numbers and figure out myself, I do muscle training and yoga too and if the watch can help anything then it will be nice, which of these watches are for me better and should I just use my phone to track instead as I always holding my phone when run as I like to take picture of places during run, is phone accurate tho?

Should I get Apple USB C to headphone jack or an Aukey pb-y59 5000mah USB C powerbank? It will be jacks to use my iPhone to speaker via AUX cable but I hope to upgrade and get a Sennheizer HDB 630 headphone when I have the money some day and it has USB C connection which won’t make use of the adaptor much later, my iPhone 15 6.1 inch often run out of battery when I go out because I take a lot photo but power bank seem to fail quick, this one I found at an authorised Apple Store I can use a gift card to cut its price nearly in half or completely buy the headphone adaptor with just spend a bit more, which one should I get or should I get wireless powerbank which overheat often as I checked the review?
