Great shot of my son kicking at college. I assume the photographer has a nice setup.

Red Sea bream, Striped Jack, and Amberjack as non-obvious ones. O-mazing.
When I was at LSU (92-00) the Auburn game was the best scene of the season, whether we hosted or went on the road. The student bodies seemed very similar back then. We partied in their strange apartment complex…and they partied in our bars, win or lose.
Does the rivalry remain? Hard to tell if the identities still line up?
Somehow this sub is always in my feed and I’m blown away by the lingo and the intricacies you all discuss. Tennis was never like that, yall must have hundreds of little situational terms.
First thing, I’m never going to hit a 2 handed backhand…I have no idea why y’all use it. I understand it in tennis, but I would never use it there either. Took thousands of hours of work to develop…there’s no going back.
Second thing, I’m inclined to try and peg people. That’s how we grew up learning to play. It’s probably more effective in tennis because the racket is so long.
Third…I play racket/paddle sports with tons of wrist. I want to time it, then snap through contact with topspin…slices are stiff wristed. Seems like pickleballers minimize wrist…is that the point of the 2 hander?
I want to run around and smash the ball with crazy angles and tons of spin…but that’s probably most tennis players that turn to pickleball. I get the feeling we’re bad fits. Is that just my misconception? We have two new courts just down the street from my house, I never see anyone play like I want to…so I don’t go even after being continually invited.
Had a NATO that was thin enough to fit into the buckle end of my factory deployant clasp, so they’re reluctantly mated. Seems to work perfectly. Had to cut the buckle off of the NATO.
Seems to be one fish that polarizes people, folks either love it or don’t eat it at all.
This is from a popular country restaurant called Dempsey’s in Kiln (locally known as The Kill), MS.
The gulf finally figured out how to compete with east and west coast oysters. Delightful. Hard to show the depth well.
It’s all buddy buddy when recruiting…but now, leading into fall camp…I assume all parents go no contact with the coaches or support staff.
I’d love to know if he looks happy, if he shows up early, if he’s grinding for the spot…guess it’s all part of letting go. Unreal feeling after being so involved.
A tree next to this one has a plaque that says 1896 on it…though IDK how they’d know when it was planted. These coastal live oaks are amazing.
Gotta new set of socks. The colorway is black and old gold. I love how the one on the right just looks like an old dirty sock. I ordered two, the two outside ones, and they sent me the set. Pretty cool.

Artichokes are huge and the onions are as sweet as tea.
Pretty cool to be able to get the crud out. Replacement lenses all around.
Pretty neat setup. Removed the crossovers to send back to Japan.
