By supaform for Milan Design Week

From theri IG, I thought it was very cool:

As part of Milan Design Week at the u/alcova.milano venue, we created a seating landscape that forms both a stage and a setting for talks and musical performances. Titled “Transit Encounters,” the sofa reflects on why public spaces so often take on a utilitarian form and how they might be adapted to foster a sense of conviviality.
The project was developed in collaboration with u/estheticjoys. Our space serves as a venue for musical performances organized together with Aesthetic Joys, as well as for a series of talks hosted by u/design_hotels

Looking to replicate my Grandfather’s late 30’s Ford Coupe Dirt-Track Racer from the 1950’s

• Does not have to be “fast” or “fancy”

• Open to any brand or format

• Mini/Micro (1:18 or smaller)

• Casual/Recreational Outdoor Use

• Off-road/Dirt/Gravel/Rock

Open to custom work/modification - if warranted

Ease of execution & budget friendliness - a plus

Opportunities for accuracy & detail - a must

Pictured:

Grandfather, Crouched (his brother to his left)

MOFO RockRat (Axial SCX24)

Freddie’s Race Bodies (Losi Micro-T)

Suburban Racing Parts (Losi Micro-B)

Injora BUG30 (Axial SCX30)

Currently owned:

• TRX4M High Trail (modeled after Uncle’s F-150)

• SCX30 K10 (lacking nostalgic significance)

Any input is most WELCOME & APPRECIATED 🙏

Notes:

[ MOFO RockRat would require an overhaul of something I don’t already own ]

[ Losi Micros aren’t super outdoor friendly ]

[ Injora BUG30 on the SCX30 might “pull it off” - but it’s a FORD not a “BUG” 🥴 ]

They had these Skibidi Toilets at Ross for $7 but they have the dumb Skibidi head coming out of the pot. Luckily the Skibidi head is on a ball joint and can easily be removed. The toilet is perfect for 1:12 figures and even has two functioning lids and can be filled with and hold liquid. This thing is going to see a lot of action!

Had my body stripped down for some painting recently and was able to snag the Traxxas Pro-Light Kit and LED Light Bar from the LHS (an hour away)

Once installed (after painting) I realized that I was left with the original LEDs and the, no longer needed, mounts from the front and rear.

The headlights and taillights had their own housings initially (although the taillights were not in use initially) with “female” LED mounts - the original LEDs were held together with a bit of loose heat shrink, which I removed to increase their reach and flexibility…

The original taillight housings were the perfect shape and size to reach the tranny mount hardware - I removed one at a time and threaded the hardware through the eyelet of the taillight housing with the LED clips facing upward - then returned the mounting hardware back to its place along with the taillight housing (placed just right)

After one side was secured and confirmed I repeated the process on the opposite side and carefully inserted the two LEDs

The battery plate offered a perfect channel for wire management - the OEM LED wiring runs perfectly along side that of the motor and servo - straight to the ECM

The only issue (thus far) is that if they’re plugged in before the Pro-Lights - they’ll override the Headlights!?
