When will Indians stop being obsessed with shaadi?

Every other day I will hear X got married at 25. Y is looking for arranged marriage prospects. Z got engaged at 22. Arranged marriage is better than love. Even if the partner turns out to be a drunkard and good for nothing.

Next up is you. You should get married in 2 years. Like what the heck? This is my life not a group discussion.

I don't want others to make decisions for me. Why can't people just mind their own fricking business? Not everyone wants to be a housewife and a kid producing machine. Can we please move on from that? People have goals. Some just want to be left alone and breathe. If this goes on I feel like I'm going to end up either burning the house down or hurt myself.

I used a nose strip for the first time ever and here's my review

I used Sirona's Bamboo Charcoal Nose Strip, and this was my first time using any nose strip. I used a foaming cleanser before taking steam, then patted my face dry. Next, I wet my nose, peeled the strip off the sticker pad, and applied the shiny side onto my nose. I let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before peeling it off. And no, it wasn't painful at all. The above images show the results. It was oddly satisfying to my eyes.

I'd say it was able to extract around 85 to 90% of my blackheads, whiteheads, and ingrown hair. My nose felt softer and looked fresher afterward. I followed it up with a serum. I have really stubborn blackheads, and the only way I'd been able to get rid of them before was by getting a clean-up done (typically starting @ Rs. 1000). However, this was much cheaper and surprisingly effective. I got a pack of four for Rs. 56. I do wish the strip were a little longer to cover more of the area, but overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience, especially for the price.

Turning 23 tomorrow, help me out in planning my day ! 😊💕

I'm turning 23 tomorrow. I usually just sit and grieve ageing up another year without having conquered anything of substance. But then I remind myself I'm not Alexander the Great.

I may either go out solo or with my sister. I'd love to have you all suggest me how I go about my day. I don't want to splurge but make it a memorable and happy day. I was planning to go watch The Odyssey but that would take up a lot of my time. I'm going for a family dinner later in the evening.

In the end, it's him and I

I miss you every single day. I miss you more than you miss me. You're here but you're not with me. You're alive but you're not breathing with me. I wonder if you'll ever have the time for me. I wonder if you ever truly loved me.

I will always love you. Always.

Is it dumb to rely on the AM set-up?

I'm in my early 20s, and I've never really taken dating seriously. Whenever guys approached me, dmed me, or tried to flirt, I'd usually ignore them. Sometimes I'd flirt back a little, but that was it. I have never been on a date. I never let anything go further because I didn't want to get into a casual relationship that would eventually end in a breakup. I don't see myself being capable of hooking up either.

Now that I'm seeing women around me and here go the arranged marriage route, I've noticed a lot of them say the men they meet don't really take care of themselves, don't work out, or just aren't very attractive. I've also heard people say that some men end up in arranged marriages because dating never worked out for them. I know that's not always true, but it still makes me wonder how much of it is a gamble.

At the same time, I have no idea how to find someone who genuinely loves me and sees a future with me. I'm scared that if I start dating, the other person might just be in it for the experience and not because he actually wants something long-term and serious. I want to try it though although I'm sceptical. I also don't know if I can trust an AM set up enough to build my life around it.

This is what the help feature, support representative and Swiggy Instamart customer care (email) said in response to my complaint. I spent 287. I don't know how to get my money back or receive a replacement.

Unprofessional and unacceptable.

I made a wire transfer, how long will it take to reflect on institute website?

I generated an offline invoice and made the wire transfer on 10. The deadline is 14. The payment has been processed but doesn't reflect on my CFA institute account.

How long will it take? I'm planning to mail the institute.

The invoice states contacting CFA society at the bottom of it. But has anyone actually done it successfully?
