Questions on highschool theatre stuffs

So, im a smaller theatre kid. i dont know many musicals but do enjoy some. My oat though is chicago, and i got lucky and my highschool is doing it this year. i came here to ask older people, is it really fun? I wanna try out for velma (i need to be a diva) but would also be fine witb the russian woman (forgetting her name sorry) or really anyone who sings in cell block tango (my mental hospital grounding song). I did chorus a while ago and can sing, have the entirety of cell block tango, mr cellophane and reached for the gun memorized, and can learn songs quickly. I do have some afterschool things, but only once-twice a week. i have pretty bad stage fright, but think it would be fun. any tips?

Teenagers look at nsfw. we need to stop shaming them (spoiler for nsfw mentions)

Every fucking thing i see is "minors dni" or "18+ only" like i understand, but teens look at shit. We are going through the strangest part of our lives right now and its honestly normal. It pisses me off so fucking bad. Now i dont think that we shouldnt keep warnings on porn or such, but if a teen is hypersexual or just horny in general, thats going to be one of the safest ways to deal with it. Sex is not good obv, no need to explain. Talking online with people about it can lead to grooming and pedophilia.

I understand 10 year olds shouldnt see straight up porn, but for people to say "oh yeah a 16 year old cant see this because sex" as if we arent LITERALLY TOLD ABOUT IT IN SCHOOL IS SO ANNOYING. brother i have seen a real dildo in class and have learned everything about cum and shit. Its not the end of the world.

edit: im saying that adults need to realize that teens are hormonal and may look at porn. I understand that people have different beliefs, but it just pisses me off

What gear would be best?

Hi! I'm trying to get outside and do more activitys to help with my mental health! I am already about to learn archery from an older friend whose been in the hobby for decades, but was wondering about fishing! I went fishing once when i was six with my great uncle and caught nothing. I have no experience in the hobby but it seems fun! If height weight or (approximate) age is needed, I will give that ^^ I have a average to higher flowing river near me, so what would be best for that? I'm currently broke because of the bow I just purchased, but am working on making any money i can with school :P I think the archery friend also fishes or fished, so he may be able to help me out! I enjoy finding bones and skulls, so fish skulls are amazing to me! Any tips help! My price range is at max 200 usd for the rod itself ^^

How long does lancaster take to deliver?

I managed to get enough money to buy my first takedown recurve but was wondering the average time lancaster takes to ship/deliver? I do in fact go to school and have only 3 weeks until summer is over :( I have someone whose going to teach me the basics and such and has the supplies, but idk when it will come yet!

i purchased it yesterday morning at around 9am. I live in north carolina if that helps. I just wanna make sure to tell my friend when I may get it!

Question about buying recurve bows!

so im close with an old taxidermy dude who sometimes hunts with bow and arrow, and he said he would help teach me the basics. I know my hand and weight and stuff, but i have a question on actual purchasing. What is a 'bare bow'? i know, dumb question, but i dont want to screw it up. Is it already strung or just the front of it? Im looking for a 20-25 pound draw weight recurve, but im still very much new. Any good places to buy from? minor without a job (searching currently) and just want to get a good quality recurve. Where i live to own a bow no license is required, so im fine on that, but i really just want to get the best i can. my budget is around 200 USD max i feel like. Again, maybe dumb and not possible for an okay quality bow, but still

ANY information is appreciated! I will say though i am only interested in recurve ^^

Thought you guys might enjoy some photos from an old junkyard i live near

i live in a very forested area thats not super populated, but theres this old car junkyard behind my neighborhood. nobody even goes there anymore, so j like to go look around! I havent stolen or broken anything off cars, i have grabbed the following: an american racing circle thing. found on ground. a spoon on the ground. no cars are being touched or messed with other than a slight hand touch in awe. I have no idea what happened, as there are 3 old broken down mobile homes around it. There is also a shed with a bunch of school chairs. idk if yall care, but its kinda cool. i know very little about cars and so anythjng would help!! i promise i am being as respectful as possible to the cars and land itself

can you put them in constumes for a few minutes?

okay so i love my daughters dearly and would hate to hurt or scare them. I like to do little workshop projects and think it would be funny to make a mini osha vest for my older one, but would it be too stressful?

how to find roadkill dumps?

So, I'm a collector and I live in a pretty rural area in the east usa. I've gotten lucky a few times (ten-point natural death, full opposum skull spine ribs, pitbull [her name is honeysuckle] and a snapping turtle shell my friend has) but I have never found much more than deer skulls. Im not complaining, but I feel like there has to be more. Squirrels are super common to see dead around my parts from late night traffic, but idk where the roadkill people put everything. What would be a good sign of a dump? And I know the smell of death and decay is one, but its 110 degrees F out here and it aint getting any cooler too soon, plus I am not walking 30 miles in deep woods.

Looking into applying. Anything i should note?

So, im a younger teen and think my local food lion would probably recruit me (least i can do is try), but I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be turned away? Heres things i was worried about:

I have dyed hair. Idk if theyre super strict on that or not.

I have sensory issues with most types of pants, but would black cargo pants be acceptable? I can wear others, but leggings and jeans are a huge no :(

I have a nose ring. Nothing flashy, but its there. I can use a stud if needed aswell.

again, im a young teen. not at normal job age, but i need to lock in and get a j*b to pay for chickens :3 I am not the most social normally but I can hold a conversation and am not super anxious around people. I am a hard worker and can reach and lift things pretty well. I'm used to wearing converse, but would my black boots work? they arent huge or anything. I just don't want to be awful at anything ^^

thank you so much everyone :D

(i can use real grammar, i just don't feel like it for a post :P)

Could anyone help teach me how to play?

So, i wanna try to get among us on my switch, but i have little to no idea how to play and i've heard and seen about how much scum there can be, so i was wondering if anyone would want to try and make a group?

apologies if this is not allowed or something ^^

Most 'sexual' things are only because of societys sexualization of the human body.

If a girl has a larger bust and is wearing a bikini, that is only sexual because society says the more skin a woman shows the more attractive she is or some shit. Men being shirtless while doing yardwork is sexualized less but when it is its because skin=sexual energy in societies eyes. If someone has something 'sexual' on (bikini) and is clearly trying to be perceived in that way, that is sexual. But if a 19 year old girl wears a bikini to a beach because it has a print she likes on it? that is not sexual. We need to stop making everything so sexual. Skirts, short shorts and crops tops aren't always sexual. Tight pants and being shirtless isn't always sexual, and I'm tired of hearing everyone say it is.
