Can you make realistic human sculptures with needle felting?

If possible, I want to practice some realistic humanoid creatures or people, and I wunder, is that possible at a small scale, like action figure size?

If so, are there any artists I can get influence from?

Been working on a song; wrote some lyrics and then made a melody on my keyboard, now trying to make a full song on Ableton (still very very new with it!), could use some feedback to see if I'm on the right track?

Finally finished my Pegasus!

Body is needle felted with a wire amatur underneath. The hooves are polymer clay that I painted with acrylic paint and used a matte varnish.

Have blue teddy bear eyes attached and doll hair that I sewed into the needle felt, which is snynthetic and hair-straightener safe.

The wings I first made a wire armatur then stuck two pieces of felt together to get the shape, and needle felted the borders. Stuck feathers in a wing arrangement and then made a hole in the body and glued them in there, needle felting around them to really fasten them to the body. All body parts are bendable due to the wire frame inside!
