Pachypodium hybrid, $80, Seed-grown, Caudex7.4 cm

This is a Pachypodium brevicaule x densiflorum.

It is very special; each layer of areoles is quite tight, giving it a layered, fleshy look. The spines are quite rugged. The skin color has a strong metallic sheen. The branching is quite abundant, and it already has three layers of branches! Overall, it is very substantial.

If you are interested, please contact me for a video to see it~

Shipping is $25, air freight from China.

It's really beautiful in the sunset

These are multi-headed Mammillaria humboldtii. I just happened to find the perfect angle to capture them together with the sunset. The soft golden light gently falling on them is absolutely mesmerizing.

They all grew from tiny little offsets and are now over 8 years old. I guess that's the beauty of growing plants—nurturing them from tiny step by step. There are failures along the way, and not many make it to full maturity. But when they finally do, the sense of fulfillment is just unmatched.

A Mammillaria humboldtii with super many "heads"

It's almost 17cm now. It's not grown from seed, but from offsets. Watching it gives me a great sense of satisfaction.

Pachypodium inopinatum

Sharing a special Pachypodium inopinatum. All its branches happen to grow in a single plane, looking just like a small mountain range!

The root system of a large Euphorbia obesa

This is a 9.5 cm Euphorbia obesa. The root system has already been cleaned. It looks much smaller than expected and is a bit top-heavy.

Ground-planted result!

This is Euphorbia knobelii, grown in the ground for over 4 years, and this caudex is amazing! It measures 9 cm. This one is quite heavy ~

Variegated Senna meridionalis

Bred from “millions of seeds” just to get a few like these. Absolutely gorgeous! Even if it completely defoliates in winter, the variegation won't disappear. Not a seasonal variegation~

F1 hybrid of Euphorbia brevirama and Euphorbia suppressa

This is F1 hybrid. In terms of traits, the short-branch genes of E. suppressa are relatively prominent, while the genes of E. brevirama are mainly reflected in the main body (the central indentation of E. brevirama is quite noticeable).

It is currently two years old, with most of them measuring around 6 cm in size—absolutely adorable! We don't know yet how the branches will grow in the future. We just hope they won't keep forking endlessly like E. brevirama. However, based on their current appearance, they seem to be leaning more towards E. suppressa (fingers crossed!).

Photos 1-4 are of the first-generation hybrids, Photo 5 is E. brevirama, and Photos 6-7 are E. suppressa~

The utterly adorable Dorstenia socotrana

I was curious today to see how big the underground tuber was, so I dug it up. It’s currently 1.5 cm in size—very tiny. However, whilst digging, I knocked off a seed head, which has left me feeling a bit down... X﹏X
